The 2" barrel gave me the exact waves I was looking for. I'm not very good at styling my hair, especially with curling irons!! However, I watched a quick tutorial on using an iron, and this one delivered exactly what I expected with my limited skills, and was easy to use after I got the hang of it! Here are 2 pictures that show how it worked for me, and what I started with! I had it pretty much on the hottest setting, as my hair is super thick. It seemed to work well at that temperature for me.

This is the perfect size and price point for my needs. I wanted a curling wand, but couldn’t find one in this price range/width that had temperature control, so I bought this and removed the clamp (fairly easily with pliers and a screwdriver), and it’s perfect. I actually had people ask if the curls I created with this were natural, or if I got a perm. Being able to keep the heat below 350°F is super important to me, and this iron makes it very easy.

First of all, the price is amazing but so is the quality! My hair is typically very straight and it holds a curl when I use this iron! It's lightweight and gets hot quickly! The 1-1/4 size created the Perfect wave for my long hair!

I wanted a new curling iron since the old one I loved for so many years finally died; it was a 2" iron, with a dull metal & was AMAZING at getting those gorgeous Victoria's Secret model waves. Well, since I didn't have that miracle iron anymore, I'd been using a tiny 1" iron that gave me small, tighter curls & made me miss the big, loose curls I was used to. After searching high & low for a great iron, my choice came down to this & the other 2" barrel iron. Since it would be my first time trying this brand, I decided to go for this slightly more inexpensive, slightly smaller barrel & I couldn't be happier! My hair is about 4 inches past my shoulders and VERY thick, so I turned the heating dial between 330-380 degrees and it's perfect. I think I could even go to a lower temperature next time to achieve loose waves. This is the perfect iron for me & it will definitely be a great replacement as my go-to curling hair tool. I bought this 2 inch curling iron and have used it almost every day for about 2 weeks now. I have been nothing but satisfied with the curling iron. It heats up quickly and holds the heat very well during heavy use. The spring on the iron is hold very well so far. The box had a spare spring in it, which is nice to have just in case. Not sure why some of the reviews were complaining about the spring. If your looking for a good quality curling iron then this one is what you are looking for. I will definitely recommend this to anyone looking for one.

Excellent quality and value. You won't find a better curling iron for the price. These out perform many higher priced curling irons. I have the 3/4, 1.25, and 1.5 inch barrels, and work very well. I love the long flexible swivel cord, the strong but not too strong springs (and replacement springs included). Be sure to read up on appropriate temperatures for hair styling, and maybe purchase a heat protectant along with these irons because they go to 430 F (aka this one goes to 11). A good entry level product is the Tresemme Thermal Creations Heat Tamer.

Gives a very natural blow-out look. The curls are relatively big but gives you a clean and organized finish. Definitely recommend if you are doing your hair for a professional occasion or if you want to have a clean finish. If you want more bouncy curls, this curling iron is not for you!

My hair is a giant pain in the butt. I only lost part of it during chemo and when it grew back in, it did not match the texture of my other hair. So needless to say, my hair can do some pretty wild things. It's finally long enough to where I can actually style it and this curling iron is about the only thing that can convince it to submit to the will of my hairbrush. It heats up fast. The controls are very easy. The cord is super long which I really love because I end up doing some weird acrobatic yoga poses trying to deal with this mop on my head.

I’ve been through a dozen curling irons, and this is The One. I literally get stopped by passers by to ask how I get my hair to look the way it does. Heats quickly, curls last all day, no damage.

This curling iron seems very nice, however it is too heavy for me to handle. I am 73 and have arthritis and tendonitis in my wrists. Unfortunately, I didn't realize that this item could not be returned. All I did was hold it, didn't even plug it in. I will be more careful about noticing if something is returnable. I found another one that is very lightweight and am keeping that one. I know this item has many great reviews and I understand why, but I bet they are mostly younger people. I am happy for everyone who likes it!
