I'm sure hot tools irons are normally pretty great, but the one I received from Amazon was awful. First time I used it I turned it on it's lowest setting, used heat protectant on my hair, and it completely burned off the section I was trying to curl. My hair is still damaged from it, a year later. Just turned on, it smokes from the tip. It's probably a manufacturing problem, as hot tools irons are known to be really great. Just beware, look for smoke, and test it on a very small bottom section in the back first.

Did not curl. I think the newer ones aren’t anywhere as good as they used to be. I wouldn’t purchase this...

This product was a let down. I have long hair and it's not thick. My hair always holds a curl, but this curling iron just doesn't give it any kind of curl. More like a big wave.

Stopped working after six months. Looks brand new . Doesn't heat up at all. BAAAAAADDDDDD CUURRLLINGG IRON!!!!

This product was supposed to be new and it had scratches all over it, there was also some sort of glue like substance that left alot of residue on your hands whenever you touched any part of it that was plastic

Received 2/5/15, and it totally quit working on 2/26/15. It was a great curling iron, when it worked!

this curler barely works, not worth it at all

BEWARE! This curling iron did NOT work. It wouldn't turn on at all. Very disappointed. I think its a scam.

My iron no longer heats up. Haven't had it even for two months. Will not buy from here again.
