Had to return this item. It would not clamp down on my hair. My hair just continued to slip out of it

I tried this curling wand at several different temperatures for various amounts of time and it never curled my hair. It actually straightened it at times. It gets very hot, very quickly and is comfortable to hold; it just didn't ever curl my hair.

As my hair was growing, I needed a larger size curling iron and when with this one which I purchased in January probably based on reviews and price. After using for six months, I can not recommend this iron because the heat setting is a little dial on the handle where you hand is. It is VERY easy to disturb the setting on the dial, which I have done multiple times. You have to stop and check the dial which have VERY tiny little numbers and fine gradations of temperature, No digital read out. No timer. I am worried about moving the dial inadvertently too high and having a disaster. On the plus side, it does make nice beachy loose waves, but I am on the hunt for another brand.

I have heavy hair and this tool didn't work so great for my hair. I have to put a lot of hair spray to have it hold but was trying to find something where I wouldn't have to fry my hair on top of putting so much chemical in it.

Worked great for a while (several months) however the power cord broke due to the repeated twisting during use. Should have lasted longer so I would not say this is a very quality built item.

The curling iron arrived in great condition. I am not that impressed with how it finishes my hair, however. It leaves my hair pretty frizzy so I need to apply Moroccan oil to tame the fly-aways. After about a month and a half of using it daily, it started to make a terrible noise. I assumed that the spring needed lubrication so I applied some WD-40. While it doesn't make noise anymore, my hair now smells like a garage. It is frustrating because I have had so many curling irons over the past couple of years. It seems like the made in China thing results in nothing lasting anymore.

I purchased this iron in November 2019 and it has already stopped working. I have had it less than 7 months and it's useless to me now. Terrible.

it didn't just work for me that's why i returned it about four days after i received it. I really wanted the big curls that's why i got it, but because the curling iron is big, and gets really hot, i could not get the curls i wanted. Hence, i ended up getting burnt. i guess it might be perfect for people with very long hair (mine is in neck). may be in the future i will buy a 1inch curling iron.

Don't like this iron. Takes forever to warm up and then doesn't get very hot. Curls were flat. 2 stars cus I don't absolutely hate it.. but def dislike it. Would have returned but missed the return window. Def wouldn't buy again or recommend it.

Had larger expectations for this curling iron especially from hot tools. Curls but not as well as I had thought. Next time will rethink buying this iron.
