I wanted a really wide diameter curler to create a smooth curve. Smaller rollers and irons made my hair too curly and a flat iron really can't create enough lift-- It made my hair flat looking. There was a bit of a learning curve because it's so big and very hot (even at the lower end of the dial), but I'm getting consistent results now and I'm very pleased with my new hair.

It gives me big curls that turn into big waves on day 2. The best curling iron I've had in a while. It also shipped very fast. :)
