First off, I like the design. Very grippy grip tape too! It’s a lean-to-steer so it’s kinda tricky in that department. However, it doesn’t unfold and if it does it will never again lock. That click sound you hear when you first “open” it is you actually breaking it. Found that out the hard way. There’s a solution and it’s not in the instructions. There’s two gold colored screws at the bottom of the handle. Remove the lower one and then push down on the collar above it. It should move free. Rotate the handle into riding position and pull the collar back up and reinstall that lower screw to “lock” the handle into place. I learned this by taking it completely apart to figure out why this happened and how it works. Then reread the instructions and it doesn’t say anything about that little bolt. Remove lower golden screw, push down on collar, rotate handle into place and reinstall the lower screw to lock. There shouldn’t be a “click” noise.

Like others have said....instructions are not clear and you basically break the scooter to get it up only for it to not hold up while your kid is riding it. Thankful that my child was in full gear when we took it out because she definitely had issues with the handlebar falling. Horrible design.

Maybe when shes older, but decided to go with a different one because the base isn't wide enough for her learning.

this scooter would be amazing if it didnt break. bought one, wheel popped off while my 4 year old was riding it, we were not able to fix it safely, bought another one, same thing happened a week later. this scooter isnt safe, would not recommend. would be perfect if it was safe

Wheel is making noise on right side. I have tightened it and my daughter received it as a gift while she was in the hospital. I would like to see if there something someone could do I would hate for my daughter not be able to use it, but prefer safety over fun.

You can’t turn the wheels. You have to lean right or left. This caused my toddler to fall over. We are returning and got her another one for Christmas. The lights are cute tho

Instruction manual says turn handlebar to turn. However, the box says lean to turn, and the scooter IS a lean to turn. We got it because we thought it would be a good learning scooter for our 3 year old. It's almost impossible for her to get both feet on it, and she cannot reach the ground to continue kicking when she is leaning to turn. The amount of space required to make an actual turn is ridiculous. Will definitely be getting a different brand scooter for her.
