No need to use brute force nor take this scooter apart to fold/unfolder. Just press down on the collar at the bottom of the handle. It is that simple.

Like everyone else who commented I was confused as to how to get the stem to stand up. But after reading the other reviews. I was able to push the collar at the base of the stem, Purple plastic part, just after the metal stem and right before the pink base. Simply push it down and it will release and lock in place for easy usage.

Love the quality of this scooter, and my kid loves the design! It's a bit heavy for a 4-5 yo, but worth it for the durability. Wished the lights were brighter, they seem barely noticeable during the day. Registration could be easier and more straightforward, and you have to live chat to do it.

Great quality, better than I expected. Would have given a full 5 stars but even with brand new batteries it doesn't light up or have any sound. Not a deal breaker, my 4yo doesn't know it's supposed too. Just bummed because he would have loved that.

Such a cute scooter! It turns easily and the lights are a plus. Only thing I don’t like is that it is pretty heavy! Overall cool scooter just wish it wasn’t heavy

My daughter loved it. I only wish there were more holes to make a bit taller.
