One of them broke before I took it out of the package, then I noticed it looked like it's been used and is dirty. The other one looks fine but haven't tried to use it as I'm returning for replacement.

Unfortunately this product is poorly made for its advertised use. The largest opening is too small for jar lids bigger than a small pickle jar. And to even accommodate a lid that would fit the product needs to be pried open to place on/over the lid. How unserviceable is that for Pete's sake. For a person with arthritis trying to use this product is ridiculous. As it was inexpensive and I already opened and threw the package away I did not return it. Buyer beware.
