Rough pull on hair
Marsha S.
The spring is already loose, after 2 months. Therefore, it does not curl without holding the lever down manually. I wish I could return it.
Michelle
For some reason this one is rough on the edges and tends to pull my hair when using it. This is the first time I have had this issue with hot tools brand curlers. Otherwise it is everything I love about hot tools comfortable grip, even heating, durable.

The metal resistance spring under the handle has already popped loose. I've only used my iron 3 times. Not sure if that's normal.
Michelle
For whatever reason, I have to turn this curling iron well past 400 degrees to get it to even partially curl one piece of hair. I have naturally curly hair and can normally get by with other irons around 370 degrees. This iron takes me twice the time and my hair looks like crap by time I'm done.

I purchased this curling iron in August and it broke today. I had it just long enough for me not to be able to return it. The screw that holds the handle together popped off and it’s stripped so I can’t even put it back together even though I’ve spent the last three hours trying. Very poor quality!

The quality of the iron what I expected.

Not sure what's wrong with it but it doesn't seem to get hot enough to hold well. Not as good as my other Hot Tools!

It doesn’t clamp like it’s supposed to. I owned a few hair tools from the same brand for years now and this one right here is very disappointing.

Clamp sticks and doesn't hold hair tight
