Keeps ice for 4 days

This is my first review and since this product doesn't have many reviews (could be from the company) I decided to give an unbiased review. I got this with a lightning deal and I wanted a cooler like a Yeti, but not spending $300 on a cooler. I did an ice test with this for the past four days and left it in the direct sunlight and it was really hot outside here in NH. I put a 20 pound bag of ice in with some water in it and then filled it with about 5 more pounds. I like water in the cooler because it's easier to sift through to get a beer. But the water would make it melt more. It lasted about 3 days where the final day there was barely any ice, but the water was still ice cold. I'd guess if I only put ice in it, it could have pushed another day so I might test it again with that. But again this was in the direct sunlight with record breaking temperatures and did very well. So it advertising 5 to 10 days if you put it in the shade or away from sunlight, I personally believe it could last that long. It has bottle openers on the corners as well as a pressure release button so you can actually open the cooler. Yeti and RTIC don't have these features which leads me to believe people are getting scammed from them and you're just buying the name.If you're looking for a cooler that is like a Yeti, but better and cheaper, this is your cooler!

Work perfect for me and my crew keep everything cold

We did a test drive before we taking the cooler on a long road trip. We placed a bag of ice in the cooler and then left the cooler in our car. Inside temp. was 115 degrees F. The cooler was in the car for at least 12 hours but the ice did not melt. Inside the cooler was cold and dairy product were good. We are happy!

We had a small refrigerator go out and moved the items in it to the cooler. Now, 2 days later, the items are still cool even though we had very little ice (a half of a tray) to put in it.

This cooler is durable! I needed a strong cooler for use as a cooler seat for my boat. This thing is a tank, very well made, stainless steel hardware, gasket seals great. When I received it I had to open the drain plug a little because the lid was vacuum sealed shut on the cooler. Ice retention is very good. This is a heavy quality cooler at a good price.

I did several weeks of research, read reviews, and made comparisons before making the decision to select this particular cooler. I really wanted one for ice retention/keeping beverages cold, but it has several other features I appreciated; sturdy handles, easy water empty valve, not too heavy, and a solid seal when latches are locked down. Our cooler spends about half the day in sunlight, and half in shade, and we easily have 4-5 days ice or ice-cold water retention! We live in the south where temperatures are already hot, so I cannot recommend this cooler enough, and frankly, I am a bit surprised and very delighted that this cooler did what it claims- Forget the bumper-sticker brands with prices 3-4 times as much as this one- THIS IS the ONE!

Just a weekender cooler. Best cooler I've ever owned, most expensive too. The ice stays frozen much longer than the old school coolers and seems to be very sturdy. After a short time with having ice in the cooler a vacuum seal is created on the lid and you must slightly open the drain on the bottom to equalize the pressure in order to open the lid. Good product.
