I'm a mom of two young children and got the Fitbit to track sleep and exercise. I wake up six or more times a night to help with my kids, which massively throws off the sleep counter. It gives me inaccurate readings all the time. Says I wasn't sleeping when I know I was and vice versa. I have switched the setting to sensitive but it still reads my sleep wrong a lot. It counts sleep before midnight for the wrong day. Moron programmers. If I haven't slept well and my heart rate is high because of this, the Fitbit tracks me for exercise even though I'm standing at my desk. It said I burned 4k calories the day I hit 10k steps (which is what is recommended for everyone daily), which seems literally impossible. You get what you pay for. Cheap, inaccurate, and frustrating.

Can’t read in the sun. No challenge s with family and friends on app

Charging was persnickety from the start, but when the Fitbit completely failed to charge at 2 months, I called Support. After trying all their solutions, they requested the Amazon invoice. They then declared the seller was "not authorized" and, therefore, the one year warranty was void (it was also outside the 30 return on Amazon), so the money was wasted. Switching brand AND vendor now.

I've called customer service and gone through all of the steps and I get it reconnected, but the Bluetooth keeps getting disconnected and won't sync. I am sending it back. I read through Fitbit instructions online, it says other devices cannot be connected to the Bluetooth because they may interfere. This is ridiculous. People have more than one Bluetooth device and we can't be turning those things off all the time. Fitbit needs to fix this.

App needs constant reconnecting with device. And, it’s not simply done.New dashboard is awful. No computation ofvweek’s steps.

This was a great product for the money! Had decent step tracking and heart rate monitoring as well as sleep tracking. The little screen on this was good for quick updates, but the real power was in the app.Well, I should say was in the app. Up to a week or so ago, the app had a massive data storage, was incredibly customizable, was in great/easy to see graphs and colors, and allowed you to add workouts. The data and icons for each item were easy to see and the interface was a great use of space. The app truly made up for the tiny screen on the watch, and I was more than okay with that. Recently, an update to the app was released. It was about 10000 steps backwards, looked like a middle schooler designed it, you can’t see as much data or in great color anymore, and I, along with other users, lost years worth of data from the app. Thankfully, I have only had the device for three months and only paid $60 for it.I hope Fitbit listens to it’s customers. I’ll be switching to a Garmin it the old interface isn’t restored by end of year.Side note it promised a year of premium, but you really don’t even get 6 months. That is false advertising in and of itself.

I’ve been using Fitbit trackers since at least 2015 (Fitbit One, Fitbit Inspire). I don’t like wearing a fitness tracker on my wrist. I have always worn trackers on my waist band, which has worked great with a Fitbit. Google acquired Fitbit a while back, and they have just rolled out an update to the app interface that has changed the app so drastically that it is barely usable now. A lot of the data that I used to keep track of is no longer available on the app. It used to be easy to see when your Fitbit needed to be charged, now the battery status is hidden and hard to decipher. Supposedly the new UI was meant to be easier to read, but I find it more difficult to read because of the low contrast colors and extra small print. Motivational graphics that displayed when you reached your fitness goals for the day were inspiring, but those are gone now. If I can’t find another slimline tracker, I will be moving to an Apple Watch, even though I don’t want to wear a watch. Thanks a lot Google for ruining a really good product.

Since my free trial of Fitbit Premium has expired, my watch won’t sync to my phone

I have used the Fitbit Inspire 2 since January of 2021, and I had been quite happy with it. A recent update to the Android app has seriously reduced the functionality for me. First, it will not sync unless you turn on the location services. Or, so says their customer support site. First, locations services ought to be the end user's decision, not their's. Second, when I did turn on the location service, it would still not sync to my Android device, and since I use a Google phone, you would think this would be easy. Lastly, and more annoying, Fitbit developers removed the battery status icon from the user interface. This means you have no idea if your Fitbit is recording data or not. (The interface on the Fitbit Inspire 2 is barely legible, so it is of no help in this matter. Unitl Fitbit fixes these problems, don't even think about buying one.
