It's great for counting steps and tracking workouts. It just always has trouble syncing to my app. Not sure why this is but its annoying

You have to keep the fitbit app open all the time when working out, or it wont track. The app glitches a lot. This was perfect for my online pe summer class though!

I got it because I used to wear the fitbit one as a clip and it worked great! I read that this style could also be worn on a clip, which I was excited about as I normally don’t wear any watches. However since it didn’t come with a clip, and I wanted to start using it, I’ve now gotten used to wearing as a watch. At first I didn’t like that it is a little chunky, but the width of it makes navigating the menus easy for my short & small fingers.I love the features, and I mainly use it for tracking my heart rate and sleep. I also like the timer, the simplicity of design, grey/white screen, long battery life. Lastly it comes with a free trial of fitbit premium app, which is great.4.5 stars only because I am not sure the accuracy of the step counts. I don’t currently use it for tracking workouts, just my regular daily activities, and step count number seems high for someone who isn’t very active. Sorry if I’m wrong about it.If you like simple but still like a lot of features, this is a great little device!

Fitbit Versa 3 stopped working after2 1/2 years. Needed a quick replacement that would capture my steps and was waterproof.

I'd never used a fitness tracker before, but had been having a lot of trouble sleeping and sometimes woke up feeling like my heart was pounding, so I picked up the Fitbit Inspire 2 while it was on sale for the holidays. I originally ordered a cheap smart watch with more functions, but realized how much personal information I'd be giving it access to, including logins, passwords, and personal messages on top of my health information. I looked up that company's safety rating, and found out they'd been flagged for storing user information (including passwords) in plain text, and the user agreement said that by using their product, you allow your information to be accessed by them, all of their subsidiaries or business partners, and any third party they deem acceptable. Super, super sketchy. Fitbit's privacy ratings are extremely high, and since I haven't felt the need to get a smart watch up to this point, I felt like it was better to go with simple and secure. The Fitbit hasn't been as accurate for sleep tracking as I'd like--the night where I had a lot of joint pain and kept waking up over and over gave me the highest sleep score to date. It still gives me a good overall picture of what's happening though, and it's been a surprisingly good motivator when it comes to exercising. Being able to see what my "fat burning" and "cardio" zones are changed the way I was working out, and I've been steadily increasing my daily walk time and distance as well.On the negative side, I found were that the band that comes with the Fitbit was seriously uncomfortable. I have tiny wrists, and the silicone was way too bulky and awkward, so I replaced it with a nylon band. Those tend to be cheap and easily available, so that wasn't a big drawback overall. The second con is that the display isn't customizable. It would be so much nicer if I could rearrange the icons to display what I'm most interested in seeing, or even have it pick up wherever I left off instead of having to scroll down every single time. Viewing my heart rate means scrolling 5 times. Calories burned, seven times. Distance walked, eight times. I usually end up just grabbing my phone and looking at the app, which isn't as convenient as simply looking at my wrist would be if I could adjust the information to my priorities.Still, I'm really happy I purchased the Fitbit Inspire 2, and may upgrade to one of the fancier ones if I'm still finding it as useful in a year or so as it is now.

I got this for my fiancé because he is a runner. He loves it! Loves counting his steps and looking at the other features. But noticed his distance could be off, as he runs on treadmill sometimes can see his total miles on there and doesn't always align with watch but other then that he loves it and never takes it off!!

I only took off a star because Google has phased out most of the cool family features I and my loved ones wanted to use. (Family challenges, etc.) Pros: *Decent battery life. (I get 4-5 days if I don't force-sync it a lot.) *Pairs easily with lots of apps, like Lose It. *Simple menus, not a ton of them, and not too many sub-menus. Easy to check stats quickly. *They kept the whole experience simple. Example: display shows total calories burned for the day, calories you have eaten, and a separate section showing how much you've burned in excercise. Fitbit is great at NOT overcomplicating things. *High contrast (white text on black screen) is easy to read if you have decently working eyeballs. *Slim profile. Cons: *The screen is tiny. I have to check my stats on the app. (I am visually impaired, however, so take that as you will.) *Some modes a little finicky. Entering into shower/swim/water mode is easy. Getting the double-tap just right to exit water mode, not so much. *Cannot adjust vibration intensity. If I'm jumping rope for an interval workout, I can't feel the vibration that signals the end of a 'move' interval. *Band is not comfy. Gets itchy after a few days, skin underneath does not dry well or quickly. *Not an easy hookup for charging. Prongs have to be lined up just right, and it's easy to hook it up upside down, resulting in confusion on my part and a dead battery.Bottom line: Great function, good value. If you don't have any visual accessibility issues, I would definitely recommend this watch.

There were no directions instructing how to attach the band to the Fitbit included in the shipment. It took me a while to figure it out. In website description they say to please call customer service but there is no phone number provided. Overall, the bands are very comfortable.

I have had this fit bit for about a month and I am very satisfied with its performancePros-•easy set up on the fit bit app•Easy to charge up•The year long free fitbit premium membership (just remember to set a reminder to decide if you want to continue)•Excellent sleep tracking•Offers other health tracking options like eating, water intake, automatic exercise tracking, breaking bad eating/sleeping/health habits and formulating new habits to increase wellbeing.•Screen is very readable although it is smaller than some of the other fitbit screens•Easy to set up your text and call notifications with your phone.•battery does last about 5-10 days•sleek looking so you can wear it with everything, and not bulky feeling when you wear it.Cons•Android phone users must turn location on in order to sync information from the tracker to the fitbit app. You have the choice of constantly syncing or turning it on only when you want to update your data which is what I do (doing it my way doesn't lose data or cause data to be missing).•This fitbit does track steps while you are in bed (i.e. before you get up). I have noticed this is due to my arm movement with my left arm (when I turn since I'm a side sleeper). I've only seen it track a maximum of 26 steps before I get out of bed so this isn't really a deal breaker unless you are looking for super accuracy on your steps.•This fitbit DOES NOT track steps while driving. I've seen a few reviews about that here and I'm not sure how that happened for those folks.•Sometimes I have had to re-sync my call and text notifications. Mainly if I've charged the fitbit.I did see a few people comment on the "vibrating" issue like when you get notifications on your phone. You cannot turn off the vibration for notifications on the fitbit from what I've been able to figure out. But the vibration is so negligible that it's not really a big deal. It does not vibrate at night unless my phone is off silent and I get no additional notifications during the night either. You are able to choose on the fitbit app what you want to be notified of besides text/call so that is an optionI recommend purchasing this item.Update 10/15/2022:I wanted to post a new "update" on this item.It still did a good job tracking health like heart rate, and phone calls and text messages still came through. Sleep and steps tracking did deteriorate over the year from purchase date. I stopped wearing it at night because my sleep tracking started to get wonky, or the fitbit wouldn't read at at during the night. Finally, over the last four months the fitbit started counting steps when it was off my wrist. I would leave the fit bit watch on my bookshelf during the night, and when I would go to put the watch on in the morning I would find over 25 steps or more already counted. It also would count steps while driving, so that is a real issue which I saw that others had, but it seems to later than right at the time of purchase and the first few months of wear.I would still recommend this item as a good beginner purchase into the fitness tracker/smart watch world, but it will deteriorate in effectiveness in about one year. I did upgrade from this item to a Samsung Galaxy Watch 5 with my cell phone provider.
