Works great and glad I bought it.

I usually stick to Garmin and this one was a good purchase. After 4 months it is still working great. It's very light so it doesn't bother me when sleeping. The HR tracking worked very good without a chest strap and only using the watch to calculate the HR. Tracks steps great but there has been a few occasions it stopped tracking steps and just turning it off and back on solved it. I run, bike, and swim and no problems with it so far.

Has all the sports I love including lap swimming and open water swimming.

This was a major upgrade from my Garmin Forerunner 235. I have owned a Garmin swim, Foerunner 15 and 35. Those were great in their day, but I couldn't bring myself to spending $$$$ for the top Garmin Tri watch. When the 935 came down in price because of the newer 945, I bought it. I am very happy I did. It was the exact watch I wanted, a Garmin, Swim and 235 and more rolled into one watch. I use it daily for swimming, biking, running, kayaking, hiking, etc. Your gym is just outside. It even offers some coaching.

Watch IS able to update

I am unsure why people say you can't update it.You can absolutely update it to the most current software and the watch works perfect. There's really nothing negative about this watch. It's extremely lightweight and essentially the Fenix 5. I personally think the trade-off to the Fenix 5 with a metal case isn't worth the added weight. This watch is also essentially the forerunner 945, absolutely not worth the extra several hundred dollars for the tint additional features in map tracking.I run about 50 miles a week and the GPS does drain the battery the fastest. I usually make it about 5-6 days before it needs to be charged. Charging is extremely quick(faster than any other smartwatch I've had). Takes about 1 1/2 from dead to full battery.I would absolutely reccomend for the runner/cyclist/swimmer or any combination of those.

Highly Recommended.

Great watch for running! I upgraded from the Garmin 6xx (can't remember the exact model) which I thought was great on its own. This watch is even better. Although I like the heartrate monitor on the wrist, sometimes it will register way higher than what I am actually at. On some runs it will spike up to 170+ when I am still at a jog, eventually it will come down, but sometimes it will be up there for over 20 minutes. Not a huge deal, but it does mess with your stats. Now the watch and software analysis tools I use think I was working at maximum effort for 20+ minutes when I was just at a recovery jog.But overall, I think this is a great product. I think the GPS accuracy (for distance measurement purposes) could be improved, but that may be beyond Garmin. Great apps to connect other fitness tools and I like the Garmin Connect app. Easy to connect to all the other apps out there to share the data.

Very Satisfied

Am liking this watch after about 3 months. Battery life seems pretty good. I’m getting about a 8-10 days with about 4-5 hours of GPS use with trail running. Distance seems accurate compared to the routes I previously ran with a Suunto. Lots of good features and the iPhone app seems intuitive. I like that you can change the user bedtime and wake up hours since I do shift work that changes every few weeks. It still requires some editing though since the watch has a hard time telling exactly when I went to bed. Have never had to wait more than 10-15 seconds to lock onto satellites for a GPS run. Seems pretty durable so far as I tend to be rough with watches. Notifications work well. Can’t speak to swimming or biking tracking though since I only run.

Great, specially if you practice many sports

This is the best sport device I've had. I was between this and the Phoenix 5, and decided this because it's lighter. It's very comfortable and you don't even notice you are wearing it.Pro:- can install extra apps- GPS accuracy is excellent- clock is very light and comfortable- HR sensor seems to work fine- running on the treadmill learns your pace with every session and calculate the distance quiete accurately- Garnin App is very good and complete with lot of info- battery life is great, at least you make a heavy use of the GPSCons:- a little expensive, it's just a clock- I would like to have a stopwatch functionality built in- glass is not very resistant to scratches (be careful)- smart watch capabilities are limited, but I'm OK with that
