Love this watch - I'm a runner

I've had it for some 6 months now. When I purchased it I did not plan on wearing it every day, but as soon as I opened the box I changed my mind.I wear it as my regular watch now, day & night, letter for the "sleep" feature.Battery life is awesome, lasts more than a week.I also got the HRM-Run chest strap which opened up a new series of metrics for me that I did not even know existed.Very reliable data so far, the GPS engine seems better than my Garmin 310XT.Also like the Android app, and the fact that Garmin have been pumping out sofwater updates and new features for the watch. The barometric altitude feature does not seem to be very accurate but it does not bother me.The sleep feature sometimes will register more sleep than actually happened, again no big deal. The watch interface is easy to learn and to see, I wear reading glasses but I can see the running metrics without glasses while running.Great watch if you are an exercise junkie.

Second Garmin Watch

I've had Samsung and fitbit and you can't even compare to Garmin. I just upgraded and gave my old one to a friend. The battery on this one last forever. I probably only charge it once a week. We just finished riding 220 miles in three days and I had the GPS on tracking every mile and at the end of three days I still had battery life. Best watch ever. Never looking at another Samsung or fitbit again.

Great running watch with a lot of advantages

Had the Forerunner 235 and used it for a lot of years. Here are some of the improvements I have noticed: A lot more information in terms of fitness monitoring. However, the best part is that the watch's accelerometer senses wrist movement that will allow you to turn on the light while running with the flick of your wrist. The interface is very good. I have used it for golf and it makes a pretty good tool for keeping score and measuring distance. It will track your shot distance for each stroke through a round. The sleep function is very interesting and and the heart rate analysis is very good especially when you look at both of those on the app or your computer. The watch works great with a phone in terms of allowing others to track you. This was a great buy and worth the money over the 235.

Great All Around Device.

I am a Garmin-lifelong user, and consolidated my Vivofit 2 step tracker and Forerunner 920TX with the Forerunner 935. Before I settled on the 935, I bought (and returned) a Fenix 5. I was reluctant to give up my Vivofit 2, which I had for two years and before that had the original Vivofit. Both has year-long battery life, and were great everyday, wearable items. I liked the Fenix 5, but it was too clunky and on the heavy side to wear 24/7, but the battery life was excellent for a rechargeable device. However, the 935 is perfect. Great battery life, relatively light weight, and a great screen that I don't need reading glasses to view. I use it for running outdoors, the treadmill, indoor rowing, lifting, and biking. With all of these activities, I am still getting about 13 days off a charge. What also is nice is that Garmin's connect, interfaces easily with each devise, and is easy to use.

Great price, fast delivery

There are several reviews about receiving Asian versus rest of the world version. Mine was sold by Amazon directly and is the rest of the world version. 4 runs and 1 bike ride a week provides about 10 days of battery life. GPS is very accurate. Watch feels lighter on wrist than expected so I hardly notice that I have it on. Overall great value for less than $279 purchase price.

The 935 is "Top Dog"

I love my Forerunner 935! The product arrived on time and in perfect condition. I am replacing my Apple Watch 2 with the 935. I mainly used them for running, cycling, and day-to-day goals. In battery life there is no comparison. The 935 usually lasts all week, but I had to charge the Apple watch each night. This allows me to get statistics and habits in my sleep patterns since I can wear it to bed. The 935 tracks more data points for running, and tracks more activities. Everything is uploaded (quite fast) to Garmin Connect, so I can see everything in one place. On my Apple watch I was always switching apps (Strava, Apple Activities, Nike Run Club), so I couldn't see all activities in one place. In fact it's very difficult to get the info from Apple Activity exported - I had to download another app just to do that. I am extremely pleased with the 935. It tracks more than I know how to use, right now.

Awesome training tool!

I've had my watch for a week now and I love it. Previously I was using the Garmin FR 235 and it worked great for what I needed but it was time to upgrade. The 935 is slightly bigger but not as thick as the 235. The HR monitor on the back does not protrude as much and feels like it fits to my wrist better. I purchased the watch mainly due to the added battery life because I'll be running some longer Ultra distance races and wanted it to last. I love that it has an altimeter built in and tracks my elevation in real time. This watch tracks a lot more data than my previous 235 and if you add the HRM strap or belt clip it'll track even more. This is an awesome training tool and great for tracking outdoor runs. I like that it has a calibration feature for treadmill runs.

Great

Great watch. Very similar to my 235 just a few more features and slightly larger. I was due a new watch because my battery wasn't lasting as long any more on 235. Of course the charge cord plug is different. So the several cords for my 235 are junk....

An amazing piece of equipment

I love my Garmin! I'm an enthusiastic athlete and this is a terrific tool for keeping track of workouts, as well as sleep and other things. After more than 35 years of serious distance running and multi-sport training, I have never consistently tracked my heart rate and see now how useful (and undoubtedly healthful) that feature will be. I've only been using the watch for a few days but so far I am impressed with its ease of use. I was worried that the setup would be overly taxing, but it turned out to be very intuitive to set up and operate. So far, so good!

Superb Instrument

I owned the Fenix 3 Sapphire, the 735t and the 235. I like this unit better than all of them. First off, the screen size is great without being overbearing (I have a 7.25 inch wrist). I always felt like the Fenix 3 was way too big and too heavy to wear 24/7. The 935 has all the features of the new fenix 5 line at almost half the weight and a slimmer wrist presence. It also has wifi.Battery life is great. Better than the Fenix 3. With multiple runs and swims a week, the battery seems to lose about 10% daily, which I consider phenomenal considering it is in gps mode for those workouts. I own 5 or 6 nice automatic watches and have to admit that the 935 has become my daily wear watch, even at work.
