I thought the name Dirt Devil would mean it was quality - wrong! Maybe this vac is good if you do not have a dog, or you don't mind sticking your hand up inside a dirty tube to pull out the filter...then try to slide off a foam covering w/o messing it up. then you wash it and rinse off the inside peace and wait 24 hours for it all to dry before you vac again. The 'dirt cup' holds about a handful of dog hair - I had to empty it three times. I used it twice and requested a refund, which I got. Do not waste your time or money.

Belt started smoking the second use. All ready threw away the box since the first vacuum was awesome so I’m stuck with a broken vacuum after 2 uses and our money.

terrible..it no longer picks up. we clean it constantly...we bought it in Aug its now 4 dates until Thanksgiving. Won't be buying another dirt devil product

Two things I don't like about this product - 1. Too light, it skips over the carpet. 2. The hose attachment is too rigid - doesn't extend far enough to be useful.

haven't even had the vacuum a month and you can't even put the filter back up in there when you vacuum the air comes out of the top

this vacuum is a piece of trash! Im sorry I didn't return it. as it has never done the job it's supposed to do.

Doesn't suck up dirt well enough and very hard to push my arm was sore after first use

Used this only a few times and it is giving out burnt smell already. I suspect if I run this for a minute without letting it cool, it will catch fire.

To small. One look packed up and took it back. Ordered it on line to replace a aging one. Next time will go see the one I want.

I just bought this vacuum and it already is not vacuuming anything the filters and everything is clean just buy another vacuum look past this one
