I should have payed more attention to the size of this product. Everything was as it should be with my order. It was my fault for not realizing that it would be hard to make any type of smoothie in such a small container. I urge customers to opt for the larger size! I wish I never bought this little one. It comes with only one type of blade and I often have to open it up halfway through blending to mix things around so it can cut through things left at the top of the cup. There's just not enough room for anything. It's not the seller but the manufacturer that's the problem. It shouldn't even come in this size bc it makes everything so complicated. Def not smoothie friendly. It doesn't mix well bc there's no room for things to move around inside the cup. Big mistake. I really like the Magic Bullet -- just need a larger size and I'm good to go!

The blender worked fine for the first couple of months. Then the plastic wheel with 4 segments in it (pictured) broke its teeth off, so it was no longer engaging with the rubber gears that drive the container's blades. I ordered a replacement part for this, but the same thing happened again. And then again. And of course I was out of warranty by the time I realized it was a lost cause. Long story short, it's not a rugged design -- the mechanism to drive the blades is too fragile for the motor. If you grind up frozen fruit -- a basic for smoothies -- you run the risk of the fragile plastic blades breaking and the thing not working at all. After 2 more months of struggle with this, I give up. I hope to find a better, more rugged alternative soon.
