Would Reccomend!

Love this flat iron! I do agree with the reviews that the button placement is odd, but no flat iron has ever been able to get my curly roots so straight as this one and it adds great volume!

I love it

I loved it! And the price was fair because I needed an urgent one and it served me very well.

Customer

I find if I simply turn the straighter upside down so the buttons are on the bottom instead of the top, I can position my thumb between the buttons and have a good grip on the otherside & avoid 90% of the issues. Now yes my thumb occasionally either turns the straighter off or hits adjusts the temperature BUT you have to hit the button pretty hard and/or hold it the buttons down for 30 seconds to really cause those things. Also the button makes a loud snapping sound so it's not like you aren't aware if your thumb slips to check. Overall I don't have issues with using this straighter.

Sleek, but risky

It’s really nice lookin go flat iron & it straightens really well, but you have to play the guessing game to get it to lock in on a temp. As most other reviews mentioned, the buttons pose risk for temp change while in use—BUT I figured out that you have to wait a few seconds for the desired temp to start blinking on the screen & then press & hold the ON button again for a second or 2 for the temp to lock-in, but it doesn’t speak to this in the instructions, so I stumbled upon this by accident… Also the plates appear to be “floating” but have no “give” so you can easily burn your hair by applying too much pressure randomly in passing. Lastly, I’m not sure if it’s just the one I bought, but it does a strange buzzing/sizzle sound that’s really unnerving while as I pass through my hair. And the plates seems to pinch & rip the hair out if not you’re hiding the sections perfectly still. I just don’t feel comfortable continuing to use this flat iron; the design is very sleek & straightens well, but it’s too high risk.

Not that bad , we make it work just fine. It does seem to tame frizz

It does pull the hair a bit at first but as it heats , it gets better. You get used to the placement of your fingers so you don't mess with the temp or power button. Don't know the regular price but would only pay $25 for another one.

pros/cons used in very thick hair

Pros: Pretty and light weight design Did help with frizz and static Affordable $$ Good heat settings Cons: Button placement VERY annoying. I accidentally turned off the iron, and that’s not ok. If you’re going to blow dry your hair prior to use I think it works well. If you’re just to straighten next day semi curled hair, I think it may struggle. You get what you pay for.

Great Flay Iron

I was very excited to try the InfinitiPro Flat Iron, and I was not let down. I love that it is light weight and has a long cord. The rounded end makes for easy use around the ears. I have short fine, hair and the sleek design and smooth heat plates work well on my hair. I also used this on my girls, they wanted beach curls and it works fabulous. The only down side to this iron is the control buttons are on the handle and it was a bit difficult not to push them and change the settings. Other then that, I love this iron. Not for coarse curly hair

I'm sure this flat iron will work for most people. I wasn't happy with the results the first two times I used it and was thinking about returning it. However, I decided to give it one more try and I found out that if I turn it up to 420 degrees and do only very small amounts at a time it works well enough. But, I have 2A-2B coarse curly hair and it still does not get my hair smooth and silky.

Works Good, Could Be Better

First glance, this straightener was very promising. I liked the sleek look of it, including the color. The cord was long and not bulky which made it easy to wrap up. The buttons, however, are oddly placed/shaped and I had to readjust how I held it while using as to not accidentally turn it off. Not a huge deal. The instructions that came with it were very easy to understand. I did not like how I couldn't tell when it reached the temperature I set it at. I have very thick and wavy hair but always blow dry it first so it is usually pretty straight before I straighten it. This unit did work very well to straighten but I did not notice it help with frizz and I did use a flat iron serum to help with damage. But for the price, I would recommend this flat iron.
