I got this on a whim in store cause it was on sale and I wish I would have took a few moments to read the reviews cause they are 100% right. Not for course curly hair, and the buttons are placed horrible. Right where you grip is the on off and temp button

You definitely know that a hairdresser did not make this I am a hairdresser and it's so frustrating to use this particular flat iron it has all the buttons and the on/off switch where you put your fingers to hold on to it you can't put your fingers any place else because you'll get burnt so you constantly changing the gears or turning it off, not sure why Conair would even think about selling this. This was a waste of my money I did a donation to conair.

This flatiron is terrible, it’s very poorly designed. There is no way to use it without pressing the temperature controls or power control so it often shuts off or the temperature goes down during use as the controls are on the front and it’s also a very pressure sensitive toggle bar rather than buttons. No matter how one holds it, the bar will get pressed and the iron shuts off. Im very disappointed in Conair, which had always been my preferred brand, but this flatiron is useless. Unfortunately it cannot be returned to the store because it had been used and isn’t broken.

I was hoping someone had figured out how to use this without turning it off. But as with the other reviews I see, it seems useless since you can’t hold it without turning it off. Back to the store for return tomorrow.
Conair
I only had it for 4 to 5 months and it’s starting to smell BURNT and it makes my hair smell like it too and it makes me think like my cat peed on my head and it straightened nice but i’m not buying Conair again i never left it plugged in and only use it once a day. Buying remington now.

This is probably the worst flat iron I’ve bought. Literally can’t even use it because you’ll keep turning it off. They need to take this off the shelves.

Impossible to hold without turning it off or changing the temperature. Then if I tried to change the temperature, it seemed to freeze and wouldnt change temp. It didn’t seem to do a good job anyways.
Rhit
Cannot use it without turning it off because buttons are on the part where it is held. I see that there are other reviews with the same complaints. So, it’s not just me.
Shelby
As with the reviews already written, you cannot hold the flat iron without turning it off or adjusting the temperature.
