Did not mix like I was expecting. Also, attempted the egg beater attachment to make scrambled eggs and had a big mess to clean up. I guess I was expecting more automation and better results in food preparation. This is not what I wanted. I would not purchase or recommend one.

There is a lock button so make sure you press that along with the power button! The blender attachment works well. I've tried using it directly in a sauce pan and that made a bit of a mess so I use the cup it came with but transferring soups/sauces can be cumbersome. I will have to say the whisk attachment makes a gigantic mess and I can't imagine a scenario where using it would be more efficient than whisking by hand. I've had this for 6 months and so far it seems to be working as well as it did in January.
