I’m super disappointed you have to hold down the lock with one hand and use the other to power. Not easy to use that way. I only use it for smoothies in the cup they send and it works fine no splatter but don’t like that two hand feature.

I do like that this is a corded version. And they have several color options if that’s important to you. But…This immersion blender is honestly just, meh…My old one (same brand) finally went out after a good 10 years run. The change in connecting the attachments with a push and twisting motion vs. the old button release wasn’t helpful. Hasn’t caused any problems, but not helpful either. And it is awkward to have to hold down two buttons to get it to work. This may have been a safety feature attempt, but a poor one since it makes it so awkward that one might accidentally drop the blender. My older version didn’t have that, it simply stopped once the button was released (which is basically what the two button function does now). Also, the power on this is not impressive at all. And there is only one speed. The old one had a dial that you could turn depending on the need. I can’t seem to find a direct replacement, and this meets the bare minimum. There is as another brand that was half the price, and it may have been the better deal give. The overall quality of this immersion blender.

There is a lock button so make sure you press that along with the power button! The blender attachment works well. I've tried using it directly in a sauce pan and that made a bit of a mess so I use the cup it came with but transferring soups/sauces can be cumbersome. I will have to say the whisk attachment makes a gigantic mess and I can't imagine a scenario where using it would be more efficient than whisking by hand. I've had this for 6 months and so far it seems to be working as well as it did in January.

Very flimsy overall. Assembly for whisk in pieces. And unable to get it to secure to the hand piece.

I didn’t realize until after purchasing that the box had already been opened. Will be returning it ASAP

The motor of my old (10 years+) Cuisinart immersion blender gave out. I use it primarily for blending individual smoothies and for soups. I was shocked to discover this new version has a hard plastic blender shield in place of the metal one. I was also surprised by the need for a two-button power button instead of one. It's awkward to use, but hope it will become routine. So disappointed with these two changes. Of course, the device works well once you get used to the 2 buttons. I am sure there were reasons for the changes, but not great for the user experience. No other option.

The immersion blender works beautifully! I unfortunately have had very bad luck with the whisk attachment. The batter went everywhere, even when I used the tall container included. I think for future models (there most likely is already a new model and I just have an older one) it is very important that you include a low and medium setting, not just high. It would also be great if the container you included had a rubber grip on the bottom, and/or a weighted bottom. I find it tricky to hold the container (for stability) while pressing the unlock and start button simultaneously. I will continue to experiment with different containers and see what works! Again, the blender attachment works very well. The different speeds would be handy for the blender as well as the whisk. Thank you for your consideration on these matters!
