This immersion blender works better than all the previous versions I've had and I LOVE immersion blenders so much I got rid of the regular blender! No more exploding hot liquid all over the kitchen (and me!). This model is straightforward, but sleek and excellently designed. It provides a 3 cup measure (thanks for the increase!) and the parts snap together quickly and lock safely. Cuisinart delivers top quality in the kitchen again!

I purchased the blender to mix up my protein shake. It does a great job blending as well as when i add fruit to it. I dont mind the safety button at all as it is a great thing to have if you have small children. Very pleased with my purchase.

Have only used it a couple of times but it works great for the tasks that I have performed- blending tomatoes for soup and sauce. The blender is just the right weight and easy to use and clean.
