Problem Fetching Brush Status - Bad App

My Smart Brush doesn't connect properly to the Quip App. I tried different brushes, and support even sent me a new motor, but the issue remains. At this point, I assume it's an issue with the app itself, as I was able to connect to other devices. Very frustrating.

Great product. Tiring politics.

I have loved using my Quip toothbrush, but it is getting extremely tiring to have these companies shoving their divisive social politics down their customer's throats. Emails, phone notifications, and every time I visit their website. Quip might be one more subscription I cancel to find another brand.

Do not buy this product

I love the convenience of these toothbrushes however they are not made to last. This was my fifth toothbrush and it made it for about a year. In the beginning I loved it so much I got the rest of my family to purchase them. They have all had the same problems. I am now the last one to just give up. So disappointing great product poorly made.

Still getting product after cancellation

There is no way to quickly and efficiently contact this company - I cancelled my refills MONTHS ago and just got billed again - but I can't talk to anybody because that would be too easy... Seriously consider how long you want to fight this company if you ever want to cancel....

Not designed well…

After using this brush consistently for about a year it does not work well anymore. When changing the battery, the tube that keeps the battery touching the metal so it turns on/off properly doesn’t not stay in place. It requires you to depress the tube yourself and maneuver the head on in a way that allows it to work. While doing this it comprises the head attachment system to the brush. The head does not stay on sturdy enough to get through a 2 minute brush anymore. It wiggles loose and becomes disconnected in the middle of brushing your teeth. I’ve tried to buy new heads thinking that would fix the issue but it does not. What’s even more frustrating is that after reaching out to the quip team, they told me that my brush is outside of the year warranty and that I would not be eligible to receive a replacement. If their brush was made well, they would give you longer than a one year warranty but clearly they are aware of how poorly designed their product is. Don’t fall for the sleek design and nice colors, this tooth brush is not good.

Okay

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Thank you to The Stellar Product Testing Panel for sending me the Quip Smart-A Electric Toothbrush to try out. The toothbrush looks sleek and I appreciate how slim it is. Unfortunately, I found that it doesn't work much better than a manual toothbrush. The app also wasn't very helpful. If you are already in the habit of brushing your teeth twice a day it isn't necessary.

Breaks very easily

Do not waste your money. The toothbrush looks nice, but is very poor quality. I had to replace my first Quip toothbrush, then the second broke right after the charge ran out. I haven’t even been able to use the charger more than once before it stopped working (yes, I followed all of the care instructions.) Works well when you first buy, but the toothbrush only lasts a few months before running into technical issues. Such a nice design but extremely disappointed with the product.

It doesn’t recharger hasn’t worked

It doesn’t recharger hasn’t worked since the day I received it. I have other quip toothbrushes like the battery operated ones and they work perfectly. I called myself purchasing a recharging one and it was faulty, but then this came out and I got excited. Well yet again wasted money. If I could get the same colors in a simple battery operated toothbrush I’d be satisfied.

I bought this to take

I bought this to take to a second home. It will not hold a charge. I have tried several times. I plug it in and charge it and when I use it, it works for about 10 seconds - then stops. Very disappointed.
