I've had the old one for over 10 years and it still works perfectly. I bought this new one just in case.

I bought a giant pack of razor blades, and then realized I had the old Gillette razor for them. So I ordered this, and have shaved with it a few times now. It is a very close shave. 5 blades really grabs the stubble. Felt a little like the old razor when it was getting dull, but the 5 blades were just really grabbing all the hairs like crazy good. Very smooth shave afterwards. I also noticed that with 3 blades I had to go over my face twice to get a close shave, and not so much with this one. Try it out.

The vibrating motor causes the blade to slice instead of chopping. The best way to cut anything. Even if your a Lumber Jack. Just use a good lube like Creamo or Goat soap. Then move slow with the razor giving it time to slice. You can angle the blade to slice more like I do. Just be careful not to slice your skin. Use the corner of the blade to shape with. Works best with the skin guard blades rather than the blade it comes with. I bought one for my Sons super tough beard. He loves it. Enjoy!

Replacement for my last razor. I love these but they seem to only last about 1-2 years.

I was already a longtime fan of the Gillette 5-blade system. But I had never used the flexball handle before. I was in need of a new handle and gave this one a try -- and I am amazed at how much more comfortable a shave I get. It really hugs your face as you shave. And you can have a light touch! No more feeling like you really have to bear down to keep the blade against your skin. Very high marks for this handle!

Great for head or face. Best shave available, especially for the money
