My last Fusion 5 Proglide handle lasted several years. This one was dead in 6 months and I threw it in a drawer and forgot about it. I'll try one more than move on to a better product. Very disappointed in Gillette. I try to buy American Made products whenever possible. This handle was an inferior product. Too late to return it.

This is my 2nd time purchasing this power shaver, the blades in this unit is not as sharp as the previous unit and it does not light up when in use. Also for the 2nd time I received expired coupons for replacement blades. They have been expired since April 2019: are you selling extremely OLD UNITS??. Please respond as I think something is possibly wrong with these old units.

Used this on my lady legs this morning and am dismayed that this doesn't work as well as the previous model. The head is narrower, which means it takes more strokes to get the job done, and it just didn't shave close. My legs still felt stubbly when I was done. Quite unhappy, actually.

I’ve had my Shick power razor for something like 4 years and although very satisfied with it, it’s getting old. So I wanted to replace it with another. I read the reviews and everyone said the Gillette Pro Glide Power was the best. Having tried it, I don’t agree. The handle being chrome is too slippery and easy to drop. It’s only got one power setting (the Shick has 3). I believe that the power effect IS worth it. It does give me a better shave. I tried the Gillette one day and the old Shick the next and kept this up for a week. I always got a better shave with the Shick. The Gillette is not a bad device and it shaves well, but the Shick is better. Shick blades are cheaper too, and in my experience last longer. Wilkinson Sword also do a powered razor that takes the Shick Hydro 5 blades, so I intend to try that. It’s essentialy the same as the old Shick model, just brought up to date.

Gillette likes to insult their customers by disagreeing with them politically and shove their views down customers throats, and I just happen to disagree with the way they do business. For the razor itself, I like it a lot more than the cheap CVS brand razor I was stupidly using before it, but that’s not saying much. I don’t really utilize the swiveling aspect of the design but it’s nice to have I guess.. The battery powered vibration is a nice extra touch although I’m not truly sure if it makes much of a difference haha. It’s definitely overpriced but it’s a better quality blade wise than dollar shave club or drug store blades. (Which again is NOT saying much) Replacement blades are expensive! Read this little piece of info: “Procter & Gamble (The parent company which owns Gillette) shaving products have been under investigation by the UK Office of Fair Trading as part of an inquiry into alleged collusion between manufacturers and retailers in setting prices.”- Wikipedia. This isn’t the only criticism of Gillette products. I didn’t read that until after buying the razor plus the blades last longer than drug-store brand blades, but I think I’ll be switching to a company that appreciates its customers - Schick. 2 stars for outlasting a CVS brand blade lol
