Problem

Unfortunately, the tip broke off at the base of the Water Pik. I had to send it off for repair after I had owned it only 3 weeks.

Messy and heavy

This unit does barely fit under my faucet to fill with water, it sprays water all over my sink and mirror just filling. It's heavy and clumsy to use. Every time I use it I end up with a wet shirt and water spraying all over sink and mirror. Not what I want to wake up to nor go to bed in a wet nighty. Careful! You don't use it plugged in. Make sure you unplug from charger cord before using. Especially since it squirts water everywhere. Also be careful, mine dropped onto the counter and shattered the tip right inside the unit. I had a lot of troubles getting it out so I could replace it. Save the box it comes in, just in case you need to return it. I kept mine a month, one day later the tip broke off and just the day before I had thrown out the box! Can't return without the box. Overall, overlooking the mess, it does work, does its job well. I have owned a Waterpik for over 20 years and still recommend the products.

lasted less than a year

Unit was too tall to fill under the bathroom faucet, so I had to fill @ kitchen sink. Lasted less than a year. Seemed that the motor just quit.

Messy!

I bought this for my son to use instead of flossing as recommended by his orthodontist. He first tried it and it made his gums bleed. It also made a watery mess. I would not recommend this Waterpik.

It leaks

I do not feel it does an adequate job. Flossing is just as good.

Leaky item!

I bought this item to take on my cruise but tried it out at home. The canister does not fit securely to the base of the waterpik flosser and water spills down the sides.

Don't bother

I have had this for about a year. It is a poor design. I am a short person and being able to get over the sink without water to my elbows is a challenge. Even if taller, when I turn the pik to floss, the water pressure is not enough to really floss. I have to move my head to floss. Water ends up on the floor from dripping off my elbows. I have to fill 2-3 times per use. I just would never purchase this again.

Doesn’t Last

I purchased this (with a warranty) on May 17, 2017 at Target. I opted for the $5 2 year coverage. It has been about 2 and a half years and this thing crapped out. So now I can’t get a new one unless I pay in full. Products should not be sold if they’re not made to last. It worked well to clean my teeth, but I have no faith in this company and cannot support them anymore.

Bulky and hard to use

We liked the idea of a cordless unit and were also attracted by the lower price. It was awkward to use and my wife had trouble positioning it properly because of its bulk.

Average product

I bought Waterpik last month and found the product average, my electric brush I realized was good enough. Also the nozzles given in only 2, so cannot share the base unit with family
