These things suck!

I got these for my birthday last July, so I've had them less than a year and I've had to send them in to Apple to get fixed twice now. I had the Powerbeats Pro before and they sucked because the charging case didn't work, I believe there was a recall pertaining to that issue. So I got the beats fit pro because all the reviews said they charged just fine. After having them for 6 months, the left earbud started making this heinous squeaking sound whenever there was any kind of bass in what I was listening to be it podcast or music and no matter what the volume was so I had them sent in to be fixed. Then 2 months later the right one is now doing it and the sound volume is broken, even when they're full volume I can't really hear what I'm listening to. I think these things are crap and I wouldn't recommend them. For how much they cost, they should last well beyond the first year without any issues.

Not for exercising

I really wanted to love these, but I just can’t. I ask if this were good for exercising to which an employee said “yes”… well, they are not good for exercising. I’m constantly worrying about them falling out and they have already fallen three times. I’ve bought them a couple of weeks ago. SO HEAR ME OUT: do not buy if you intend to exercise. They have a good sound quality and they are good for other stuff.

A very exciting box

Subpar and not for everyone

I owned the fit pro for 1 week. The fit wasn’t good for my ears and the buds kept on falling off without even moving much at all. The sound is pretty average and the noise cancellation is a joke. For the price tag this was unacceptable. Ended up returning them. I fared infinitely better spending a bit more and getting far superior head buds from Bose.

Not the Beats they could've been..

Some of my first wireless earphones were Beats. The kind that were still corded together with the over the ear style. They were great. Crisp sound, good bass. Even the battery life was nice. Unfortuinately, they succumbed to time and repeated use and eventually died. As I typically only used them when travelling, I never replaced them as I couldn't find that style any longer (I was concerned I would lose the new design of totally wireless earbuds, unlike the Beats that draped around my neck). Several years later, I had moved into the Pixel phone phase and when I decided to finally try earbuds, quality ones, I purchased the original Pixel buds. The fidelity on these was AMAZING. I had forgotten how good music could sound when heard from a quality source. Unfortunately, the battery life on them was terrible. I coudn't use them as my daily conference call solution and purchsed a pair of Samsung Galaxy Buds for that, which are excellent on battery, but not as rich when it comes to music. Move forward a few years and a few iterations of the Pixels and I am back to using an iPhone (14 Plus for those interested). I still love my Pixel buds for music but had misplaced them. Fearing they were lost, and that it might be time to upgrade to something with more integration to my iPhone and better battery life, I purchased the Beats Fit Pro True Wireless. I expected a lot given my past experience. Man, was I let down... First, the case for these is HUGE compared to my Pixel buds and Galaxy Buds. Honestely, who wants to carry something the shape of a, but larger than a charcoal briquette in their pocket??? Next, while it is recognized immediately by iPhone and paired simply, there is no more integration that that. I mean seariously? Apple couldn't give any more thought to it than showing "Beats Fit" in the volume bar? No sound customization settings, battery level indicator, etc. That's seriosuly weak. The worst bit though, they just sound tired. I read many reviews on how terrific they sound. I am not sure what those people are hearing but they have been conned in my opinion. These are not the Beats by Dre. Far from it. I couldn't take it, the quality of the music was so poor I had to return them. Fortunately, I later found my Pixel buds and all was well, despite the horrible battery life. Move forward a year and I lost my Pixel buds again and really thought they were gone for good. I decided to try these Beats again thinking maybe I had just received a bad pair the first go around. Nope. Still terrible, didn't even make it an hour before returning them. TBH I am considering going with the newest version of the Pixel buds as the battery life is supposedly better and the sound according to most reviews has only improved. I'm fine with not having all of the integrated bells and whistles using them with an iPhone that I would have if I was still using a Pixel phone. Apple Air Pods aren't really a consideration as I have never been a fan of the long stem and I think the hype is greater than the actual performance (my wife and step daughter both have a pair so I have been able to compare performance IRL). What a let down.

Painful

The sound is good but the comfort was very low for me personally. At first they are great, but after 20+ min wearing them my ears would begin hurting where they hook in and they would also sometimes fall out. I could not wear them for long periods of time without my ears getting extremely sore. Also the Bluetooth doesn’t reach nearly as far as my AirPods so I have to carry my phone around or it cuts out.

Poorest ANC

Claims of Active Noise Cancelling should not be trusted (these provide the most meager muffle, at best). The fit is fine and they stay in place, but the audio quality is lacking and they do not provide adequate ANC at all!!! A very disappointing attempt from Apple.
