We received the umbrella and immediately found scratches and dents on the pole, and a loose screw in the box. Once we put it together, we noticed that two of the two-tier pieces that hold the two-tier piece together with the whole umbrella were broken. We contacted the company right away. And, they sent us a brand new one. The new one arrived and had minor scratches but intact. This umbrella is beautiful! It is super easy to maneuver and change angles and positions all the time. PS You definitely need two people to put the umbrella together. —— UPDATE: 8/4/2021 —— We’ve had this umbrella for a bit now. Unfortunately, we have found it rotates quite a bit (6-10 inches) even with a slight breeze. Meaning that the umbrella isn’t static. As it moves, it hits the side of the house and then it becomes stuck. We’ve learned to live with it. But, just be aware. Also, the company incentivizes people to write positive reviews in exchange for gifts. Then, don’t send you the gift. Beware!
