I have had this for less than a year and it just stopped working on me. What I paid...and now to buy another one at full price with warranty (to be safe) I wasted money. Save your money. Very disappointing.

This curling iron gets very hot and curls my hair great, but during my first use the handle started gradually bending to where i could hardly open the curling iron to get my hair in. So I bent it back up to its original spot, and then could use it normally again. But time after time of bending it back it got weaker to wear the last time i used it I needed to bend it back after every curl and it's now starting to crack. I have had it for just over a month. I thought maybe it was just a defective curling iron but then I saw another review that had the same problem.

I got this in June and it is already DEAD! It lasted 3 months. One morning it got REALLY hot and burnt some of my hair. I looked at the twist dial and it was set at what it had always been set at. I turned it down by half and waited for it to cool a little bit. Next morning, it would not heat up at all.

I thought this curling iron would really be salon quality since most salons use this brand but it didn't compare to my cheap Conair curling iron. I don't have very course hair and I had it on the highest setting and it didn't hold a curl very long at all. Needless to say, I had to return it for the price.

This was an amazing curling iron, perfect size for my hair and heated up so fast! And then all of sudden I turn it on one morning and it doesn't heat up...Like at all. It is stone cold. This is ridiculous. I bought it only in July and it's September now... The window to replace/return it has already closed so I have basically wasted my money on a defective curling iron.

Okay. So I've used many hair styling products over the years, especially as my twin is a hair stylist and keeps me up to date on products and such. I've used hot tools in the past and have never had any issues. I even own this same curling iron in a 1.5 inch barrel. The issue I had with this product? The temperature dial was extremely loose. I'd set it, curl a small section of hair, then when I'd glance at the temperature, the dial would be all the way in the opposite direction (obviously your hand is going to occasionally lightly nudge the dial when curling). It almost seemed that something was "stripped" internally. Whatever the case, I cannot fathom keeping a product that I'd have to apply tape to in order to maintain my desired temperature. Returning. Buying the Paul Mitchell iron with the digital temperature setting. Nuff said.

I WOUDN'T purchase this if I were you. The handle bent as soon as I used it. It's very flimsy and cheap!!!!!

Bought this a few short months ago and today it decided that it was done working. Plugged in, full temp, NO HEAT. Waste of money. My cheapo ConAir lasted years.

I may have just gotten a defective unit, but the wand does not heat up. I tried it in 4 different outlets without luck so will be returning it.
