Bigger than the one I had before so it took some getting used to but love the temperature settings. It takes a minute to heat up so be patient with it.

I have had this curling iron for less than a year now, and it's just given up the ghost on me - won't heat up. I loved it while I had it, though, except for the fact that I burned the crud out of myself a couple of times. As others have already stated, it gets very hot! That worked great for me for the most part, though, because I have very thick hair and wavy, and so many other irons just haven't done the trick. Just wish it had lasted longer!

I purchased this iron after getting recommendations from several friends, including professional stylists. With my first (smaller barrel) iron I ignored this advice and purchased one with a tourmaline ceramic barrel, in attempts to protect my hair. I have long, baby-fine hair and maybe ceramic better for my hair, but the curl really didn't hold. This hot tools iron still doesn't work wonders, but if I'm really concerned about the curl holding I can crank the heat way up on this bad boy. I've only had it for a few months but I've used it probably once a week and I've had no issues so far!

It works and I like it. I wish it had more heat power but I can't complain. Very good curling iron for the price.
