I bought this curling iron in February, less than three months ago and suddenly it will not heat up at all. I am so disappointed. I bought this curling iron to use on my daughter's hair, and I typically used it for just 10 minutes a day to fix her hair before school. Nothing out of the ordinary has happened to it, I just went to use it several days ago and found that it would not heat up. The light comes on but it does not get hot. I have used this brand in the past and loved it so I expected the same quality that I grew to love before. My previous curling iron in this brand lasted for years. So very disappointed.

Originally, I loved this iron. However, after a couple of months, it stopped working properly. The light flashes and doesn't heat continually, so it was definitely faulty. I contacted the seller and they said they could do nothing about it. So, it was a waste of money.

Fake hoot tools- had item for exactly 1 year. blacktop melted, hair would get caught and pulled, clip broke off and now it doesn't heat up. Have an authentic hot tool curling iron bought in 2012 with none of the above issues. buyer beware

Didn't work for me but I have unruly hair

It curled really well until 6 months after purchase when it burned my hair off and then just stopped working (wouldn't get hot at all when plugged in).

The Curling Iron worked for about 2 weeks perfect, then one day I went to go use it and it singed off my hair within seconds!!!

Worked fine for awhile and then started to come apart and one day the second I put my bangs in it, it burnt them off immediately and then it began smoking. I threw it in the snow before it just started a fire

This was okay for about the first month I owned it. Curled my hair nicely. However, something happened within the past two weeks. There must be a defect in the temp mod inside, because I keep it at 380 (it goes up past 400 degrees, mind you) and it BURNED MY HAIR OFF. As soon as the barrel touched my hair, it sizzled right off! At first, i thought it was my hair...maybe it was too dry, damaged....Nope (Ive NEVER had this problem before and I have very healthy hair). I discovered this morning, that the barrel is getting WAY hotter than its supposed to. So hot, that it melted the top plastic tip off & onto the barrel. THAT is why it burned my hair. Pretty upset. This could have been WAY worse.

Have seen nothing but great reviews so was excited. I used iron on lowest setting and as soon as touched hair it burned piece off. Weird because my stylist uses same brand. Maybe it was defective. I don't know. I am returning
