Garbage after less than 10 uses. The blade is all chipped not sure if those pieces were swallowed or not. But I saw the blade is all chipped off. And sometimes doesn’t turns on. Will be trying to get this thing returned

It's cheap so I expected to have a couple of small disappointments.The handle being the most prominent of those. It is metal and covered by a rubber grip but the metal and the grip seem like they weren't designed for each other.

It works fine. Yes it’s messy as it doesn’t just get in the shallow bowl. The ice comes out coarse not quite like a snow cone at all. The kids say a chunky slushie.

It is a powerful machine and makes good shaved ice.

When I bought this item I posted 5 stars because it shaved the ice exactly how I wanted. However, months later I'm not understanding the bad reviews so I'm changing my rating. The ice crusher started to rust and leaves black stuff (looks like oil) in my ice. It was good while it lasted.

Advertised as crushed ice — only makes shaved.

I'm not sure what people are posting about how great this thing shaves ice. I purchased ours about a week ago and have tried everything from making my own mold with a cup to contour the same bevel as the blade and opening to buying larger chunks of ice from the store and nothing worked. This thing does NOT "shave" ice. It spits out huge chunks of ice along with the semi-shaved ice shavings in the bowl. It flings water everywhere in about a 1.5' radius and puddles huge spots of water underneath it and around it. The machine itself is made very durable and of great commercial-style material. I did not try cutting veggies as it says, because I don't need it for that, but as far as "shaving" ice, it does not do a very good job. I'm returning mine and hopefully find something better.
