I have lower back pain and the lumbar support in my driver's seat is not sufficient to help relieve it. I use this heating pad to add heat to the lumbar support and I can drive farther without being in pain.

Great for the car. Saw other reviews saying it doesn’t get warm enough so I was surprised how warm it got. It was the perfect temperature for me to use as pain relief on a long trip. Only gripe is I wish it stayed on longer, I think it turns off after after 45 minutes.
