This worked great for several years and was good at relieving my lower back pain on long drives. I found the heat to be just right wearing a t-shirt. Additional clothing would obviously make it harder for the heat to penetrate. It is hard to keep it flat against your back while driving because it wants to fold up into the crack of the seat. I’m sure that’s what led to it pinching the heating elements until they shorted out. The first indicator was the odor of burning plastic. Next I reached behind me where it was suddenly getting very hot and stuck my fingers into molten plastic goo. I immediately unplugged it and moved it to the floorboard. Luckily, we have leather seats which were scorched. If they had been vinyl seats it could have been ugly. I really liked the heat before it tried to catch on fire so it gets a reluctant 3 stars.

It does work. Gets a little warm. But I need a lot more heat for my restless leg syndrome. Better than nothing while traveling.

This doesn’t seem to get warm enough to do much good. Disappointed

Car charger part broke in the first week. Works alright other than that. Just cheap parts so be carful with it. Its fragile

It’s a nice pad but never gets too hot which is what I need

It says to give it at least 10 minutes to warm up fully, but going to the chiropractor and back, which is a 15 minute drive each way, I hardly felt it. I even lifted up the back of my shirt to get direct contact and it just didn't do the job.I'll be in the car for about 30 minutes each way on Sunday and will try it again, but if it just doesn't get warm enough I'm sending it back.
