I loved this for the first 2 months but now I'm not in love with it anymore. after replacing the brush head and battery the motor has stopped working properly and the only way to fix it is by replacing it for 25$ not worth that much of an investment in my opinion.
Former Quip Owner
When Quip came to a Target near me, I was so excited! I had never owned an electric toothbrush before, but loved that Quip was an affordable option with a subscription. I really wanted to love this product. But, in the barely 2 years that I’ve owned it, my Quip toothbrush motor has broken 3+ times... Therefore, I don’t think this product is worth the money, the frustration, or the hassle of trying to get a replacement. Fingers crossed Quip fixes this problem! If they ever do, I’d love to own another.

The vibration is very weak. I can barely feel the bristles moving.

Just seems like a regular toothbrush that “buzzes” while you manually brush your teeth. I wouldn’t consider this a true electric toothbrush. Definitely not worth $60. Will be returning tomorrow.

Doesn’t make your mouth feel clean and the vibration is weak. The $5 battery brushes from Colgate (and the like) do a much better job. Will be returning.

I didn’t have any issues with this toothbrush until I noticed some darker areas on the inside. After taking off the brush, I found it filled with mold. These pictures were taken after cleaning it, and we noticed a crack on the inside by the seal. Instead of buying the next brush piece, this one will be thrown away

I really wanted to like this toothbrush and even tried it for a whole year, but I had to let it go. I noticed that my teeth were never left actually clean, food would still be stuck on my teeth, between my teeth, and in my gum line. I felt like my dental floss was working over time to take off debris that the tooth brush should have taken off. I bought an Oral B toothbrush that spins and used it on the lower setting and afterwards saw that my teeth were actually clean and all the debris the Quip failed to clear had been cleaned off. My dental floss didn't have to work as hard to clean the actual tooth, just the in between areas. This toothbrush is just too gentle, too gentle that it leaves you with debris that can than turn to tartar and do more harm than good in the long run. I only use it now when traveling, but will stick to Oral B for my everyday good clean.

Loved it when it worked! It stopped and started many times and then finally just fully died. New batteries and everything! Don’t want to keep having to get replacements even if they are included. Also, my dentist told me to use a toothbrush with different size bristles

Worse toothbrush ever. It doesn’t do anything. You’re better off getting a regular non electric toothbrush.

We have the kids version for the kiddo and like it because it does more than a manual brush. Figured I’d try the full size version since it was on sale. The app seems ok, and I like the look of the brush and the ability to mount it to the mirror. However. While the kid version has a nice, grippy, silicone handle — the metal handle is very slippery and uncomfortable to hold and use. This, combined with the size of the brush head makes it hard to do a good job on the back teeth. I have been using a sonicare for years, vibration on the quip is nothing compared to that. I was expecting it to be gentler, which was part of the reason I was interested in it, but it just doesn’t feel like it’s doing a good enough job cleaning my teeth. Probably a bit better than a manual if you don’t mind the handle and can reach the back teeth ok, but I’m going to go back to my sonicare.
