I purchase this saw to cut some pieces of wood around my house. I used it for approximately 20 minutes, in between moving and positioning the wood for easy cuts. While cutting I smelt a burning scent coming from the saw; yet it manage to finish the job. The following weekend I tried using the saw to finish up the job,only to find out that it would not work. So, if you do not have the skills or money to repair a brand new electric chainsaw you might want to reconsider your choice, otherwise you will be returning it or keeping it as souvenir.
