I got this chainsaw to use when camping mostly, but it’s nice to also use for other tasks that happen to come up. previously, I was using a chainsaw that was about 12 inches in length, and, although it was good, I was in need of a longer blade. unfortunately, when I ordered this, I did miss the part about it being corded, and was expecting it to be powered by a rechargeable battery. This requires me to plug it into a generator, while camping, or into a wall, when using it near power outlets. That being said, it works fabulously, and does a great job at sign through whatever I put in front of it, it works great for cutting firewood while camping without issue. Because this is an electric chainsaw, it is much quieter than its gas counterpart. Fairly light weight for being such a large chainsaw and the chain does indeed spin very quickly. All around great chainsaw if you don’t mind having it plugged into an outlet while using it.

I like to carve in the garage in a suburban neighborhood. This saw is great for that because it is nice and quiet. It cuts great, and it does not fill the garage with smoke and fumes.

Make sure you read that this is a corded chainsaw. I did not, so i was disappointed when receiving it. However, that does not affect its usability! We used it for trimming the trees in our backyard and it went through them like butter! Chain didn't fall off, easy to clean and it worked like a charm!

Putting the chain and bar on were pretty easy. It works fine. It IS CORDED. But the instruction manual...is not sufficient for a tool that can kill you. Im not sure the word oil is used anywhere within the instructions for example. And for those of you that are very handy and have used chain saws a lot, maybe it's not a big deal. For me, I lost faith in the machine due to the instructions so I dont think ill be using it unless I really need to.

Tree cutting excellent

i use this a lot very well built chainsaw. very quit and no fumes. the only bad part is that its not portable not to great to climb up in trees with a cord. but it has plenty of power say for a tree cutting mill at home works great

We still had several trees down for our last storm and this saw cut all day- without a problem. It is large enough for the big trunks but can also handle the small stuff without getting jammed. I would recommend it to anyone in need of a good saw.
