Batteries are too expensive, but I don't really know the cost to produce. Low rating because that sucks! I guess I'll look into it but it still sucks if true. They do last a while. I'll give them that. Rechargeable is about to finish them.

I used these batteries in various remotes. As soon as i replaced the batteries I received notifications that the batteries were low. This was 5 minutes after installing them. Wont be buying these again.

I opened the package a month after receiving them, and storing them in my bedside table. They were corroded so badly that I did not open the inner package. I called Duracell and they sent me a coupon fir new ones. However I will never ever buy the “Optimum” Duracell’s ever again! Total waste of time and effort!

I bought these with the hope they would be used in TV remotes and other devices and last longer. Not so. They do not even last half the life of a normal Duracell Copper Top. I don't know who is giving the rave reviews but on another review website there are numerous 1 -3 ratings all with the same issue of low life on these particular Opttimum. Many reviews have leaking batteries and other defects right out of the box new.
