Dead on arrival

Just buy rechargeable batteries for that much lol

Bought some a year ago these batteries would literally get hot and smell like they were about to explode.

I purchased two packages of these when they were first released, one from Best Buy (AA size), the other from Walmart (AAA size) and I regret it to this day. Batteries leaking in this day and age is relatively rare, but EVERY. SINGLE. BATTERY. From both packs, leaked. And not in a small way: An Xbox one controller, the remote for our TV, one of my daughters favorite toys, all ruined by major leaking from these "Optimum" batteries. I have used Duracell for years, I actually prefer then over Energizer, but after this, I had to wonder, why? Coppertop was just fine, the Heavy Duty line did what it needed to, why did we need these anyway? It wasn't just me either, friends told me they had similar issues with these, which, given the higher price point, makes them a phenomenal waste of money. Now, I can't say for the more recent batches, maybe they've ironed out the issues, but I won't risk another 150 dollars of broken stuff to find out.

Batteries died after less than a week of use for less than 4 hours a day. Very unsatisfied

My pack was missing 6 batteries. Very disappointed because I have to return them now for a full pack.

It was missing 10 out of the 18 batteries. I have a 15 month old so you know i have many many toys that need batteries. I was not pleased to get less than half of what I ordered.

These batteries last a few days and then stop working! My husband does not think they are authentic Duracell batteries. The packaging is a bit iffy. I do not recommend that you purchase this particular item.

Bought primarily for my TV remote; I tried 3 sets of batteries from this pack and each time my TV gave me the "battery is extremely low" warning only hours after replacing. Had to buy another pack of batteries--and have no problems with those. Seems like this was a bad batch somehow.
