It literally broke the fire time we tried to chop and onion. The entire top half cracked and the insert snapped and pieces went flying. I’m not that strong but truly felt like she Hulk in the moment. Very disappointed in the quality.

I bought this because i’m HORRIBLE at cutting onions. Just save your money and buy a knife and cutting board. My plastic part broke when I pushed down on it.

Right out of the box there were pieces of plastic falling into the container when testing with no food, I prefer my vegetables to be free from small plastic bits from cheap manufacturing. A bit of cleaning up of edges after plastic molding would probably eliminate the issue, but I would rather buy a more expensive chopper than deal with this cheap version.

I’ve had the vadillia onion chopper for years (love, love it!) use it almost every meal. It’s been time for an upgrade as mine is loosing the rubber feet on the bottom, the cleaner piece is long gone. Just time for a new one.Tried this one since I had a coupon code and it was a horrible experience. Got the old one right back out. The part you chip with that has the handle is supposed to fit devilry into the bottom plastic piece that catches the chopped up veggie. Nope. Will NOT stay on, keeps moving, making the actual chopping almost impossible without basically doing it manually. Don’t have the patience or desire to fight with a brand new gadget that is supposed to make life easier!

Broke after 1 use

I was really excited to have this. I didn’t see the reviews until after I purchased it. I went to use it for the first time, and I was using the mandolin attachment. For starters, it doesn’t come with a guard and the gaping was inconsistent. It was difficult to use and within a few minutes I had slipped and filleted my fingertips. After returning from the emergency room I threw away the product.

I was chopping veggies for dinner and the white piece inside to push the veggies through the blade popped out and now it won’t stay in.

I regret buying this. Takes just as long to put it together as it does to just cut your own veggies. Plus the cutting compartment is really small, so you usually have to do some cutting prior to use anyway.
