I should have trusted my own research. This puts out 1,500 watts. That is not a lot. By comparison, most standing propane heaters you find at restaurants etc put out 48k BTU, which is equivalent to 14,000+ (14 THOUSAND) watts. So this is roughly 1/10th as powerful as those heaters. Definitely not enough to keep an outdoor area warm unless you are huddled in a ball literally next to it, which is what i was doing last night even though it was 58 degrees. Thats the REAL review.
