Did not put out much heat unless you are directly under. Assembly and mounting very simple. Would only use in a space you are directly below or very small.

We utilize this on our screened in porch. The function is fine - remote control and other settings work as designed. The issue is that it doesn't generate a lot of warmth for an outdoor installation. My husband built a stand for it so that we could have it about 5 feet off the ground and pointed directly at our outdoor furniture. It may be more worthwhile used in a garage or shop area for warmth. We also purchased a propane heater which provides much more warmth in our area. Would rank it sufficient for temperatures in the upper 50s if you area also bundled up a bit.
