I absolutely love these lights! I bought them to use in my bedroom during the holidays. They added a surprising amount of light and covered quite a bit of my wall! They have about 7-10 different settings if I remember correctly. I only use the basic setting because the blinking ones are too fast for my liking. The only downside to these lights is that they do not come with a remote. There is a small box at the end of the light strand with a button that controls the lights. Depending on where you plug them in, this could be annoying to reach for every time you want to change the setting or turn them off (as it is for me). But, overall, I would still recommend these!

The waterproof light strands wrapped around the railings of my balcony set to 7 different lighting modes are perfect for its purpose of creating a warm fuzzy mood for a holiday season. I use the stable mode most of the time unless I want the light to blink. Tip to install: unroll the individual strand after each bunch of lights are fixed to their place. I had a hard time untangling them when doing it the reverse way. Two star swaying issues I have with this product: 1. Strong PVC smell. For me it can only be put outdoor. Not suitable for bedroom or even living room. My head would explode inhaling this. Does it even pass Prop65? 2. Short power cord. The designer of this product should take heed the regular wall socket placement to its outdoor use on balcony or patio. I had to stretch the wire to taut and cannot unplug it from the wall until the season is over. Just too hard to plug it back in. I hope it can last me several years. Didn’t see any number of year warranty info though. Overall it’s a decent product served its intention of use.

Instructions are poor. In step 2, you are instructed to connect a female plug with a male plug, but there was no male plug — just 2 plugs already connected that you cannot pull apart. (If you have another set, then maybe you could make use of the female plug.) If you start by plugging the entire string into the wall, just test that the lights work. Once you do that, you can hang them. But the instructions say there is a hook, and there is no hook included in the box. I just wrapped the main line around my drapery pole. Don’t untie the light clusters until the very last step.

These are so pretty!! The wires are nice and thick, and the lights are bright!! I wouldn’t recommend using an extension cord with these, as the lights were brighter using an outlet directly. The only thing bothering me about them is that the wall plug is making noise. Its quiet, but sounds like buzzing. Sometimes high pitched squeaking? Has anyone else’s made noise like this? Please let me know!! *UPDATE* the lights stopped working after 4 days (a week ago). I think it’s the wall plug bc the lights barely flicker. I mentioned an extension cord above which im sure would be fine to use with these, mine was just defective. Last week I tried to contact the seller for a replacement part but have not heard back from them. I’m really disappointed bc these are nice lights :(

The lights are lovely and a good price. I do have a couple of cons though. One light was missing from a strand, which showed exposed wires. Didn't affect the circuit though, so that's a plus. The lights aren't as bright as you'd expect. You definitely need more than one set for it to look like the first photo. A word of caution, they tangle easily. All in all, still pleased. I bought these for my husband who likes to hang out on the patio a lot. He says he loves them, so I'm thrilled nonetheless.

I bought two of these in May to hang in a home office that is not wired for a ceiling lamp. I bought a 48-pack of small, clear Command hooks to hang the lights around the room. I haven't untied all the strands yet, as the project is not complete, but so far, so good. The lights are a little more yellow than I expected but plenty bright and definitely have a warm glow. There is an on/off switch at one end of the strand, and the end of the strand can be plugged into the beginning of a new strand, allowing me to plug multiple strands into one socket. I ran the cord along the wall by the window and plugged it into the one outlet that's tied to a lightswitch, so these string lights operate the same way as a chandelier or ceiling light. I ordered two strands at first but had to order two more to complete the room. I will add more photos and update my review once I have completed the project.

I think they’re beautiful. They add exactly what I wanted to my room. They light up the space, have a nice, neutral color. Provide decent selfie lighting and a cool background. I’ve already gotten many compliments from my friends. I would for sure buy more if I had more wall space. I give a 4 star review because on the end of it, there’s a cable to plug in another strand - it didn’t work. I screwed on the thingy (you’d understand if you seen it) and the 2nd strand just wouldn’t get power. This turned out better anyway because then the black box isn't up on my wall ruining the lighting but over all I like them. The assembly was annoying as you have to untangle all of the lights from each other but that’s understandable. It took me probably 30 minutes to untangle both boxes, hang and place them. OH, DONT TAKE OFF THE TIES AROUND THE LIGHTS (the individual strands) UNTIL YOUVE PUT THEM WHERE YOU WANT THEM. It will save you so much hassle

These are very cute. I got one for myself and one as a secret santa gift. They are great if you like the cozy aesthetic. They've got a warm glow and the string effect is so homey and comforting. But oh my goodness they were a pain to try to put up, and I was never able to do it. They were so heavy my normal push pins wouldn't keep them up. I planned to put them alone an entire wall, and this was so long! They took up an entire wall and half of another, and I put them up near the ceiling and a good 5 inches of every strand is sitting on the floor, which is fine if it is behind something like a bed. I had so much trouble putting them up myself I sent the other one back, because I know my secret santa person would not be able to put them up. I would send mine back as well if I hadn't already taken them all apart and knotted them trying to put them up. These are perfectly good looking and functional lights, but beware how long they actually are and make sure they'll fit in the space you intend for them! I think they'd work really well outside, very bright.

These are fantastic for the headboard of my bed and a blank wall in my kitchen which needed soft light. Here's the catch: The controls on this. Wth. There is no on/off switch; instead you have to cycle through all on modes to get to the one you want, and for me that's just the basic on. This means I have to go through the very irritating flashing modes which can trigger migraines just to get to on. For one of the sets I own, that's fine, I just unplug it and plug it back in, but for the other set I cannot easily do that so must use the button. If that was improved, these would be a winner, but for lights that have options and controls — which I really don't think they should have — those need to be refined.

This is pretty damn cool. There is no remote with this listing but it’s okay there’s a lil box you can push a button and it has like 10+ light flashing settings it’s pretty awesome. I’d suggest getting a 2-3 foot extension chord to plug it in cause it gives you like 3 inches until the box to plug it in. You just need a lil extra space and you’re good to go! Otherwise super pretty and nice quality for the price. They also kinda have a weird smell I hope it goes away lol
