I am not able to rate all of the qualities of this light set. The picture shown in the ad shows more lights then there are in a larger window. If they are not spread out very much the better and brighter it will look. I think that it is hanging in a 4-5 ft. window in my daughter's place. She has had them 3-4 months and they are working fine. I don't know if she uses the remote very much so I have no info on it. I would consider getting her more for Christmas if they are still working by then. It is July now.

UPDATE: while the product ended up not being as hoped, the customer service was stunningly exceptional. They reached out immediately and went above and beyond to rectify the situation. Buy from them with confidence that they will make it right if you aren’t satisfied! These lights came packaged well, each strand bound individually so that it was easy to pick out the main cord for hanging without things getting hopelessly tangled. however, I didn't read the fine print (my mistake), and was under the impression these would be 9.8 ft across AND from top to bottom. Please note they are only 6.6ft across! Made my plan of covering 8 ft of window impossible. It was my fault for not seeing the full description, but somewhere what I DID see deceived me. Also, these are way more yellow than the other brands I have previously acquired...perhaps TOO warm of a "white" for my purposes. They are all right, though not entirely what I'd hoped. Might have returned if I hadn't unrolled several strands already.

The instructions say several times not to clip the white bundles. Who reads instructions for fairy lights? Obviously, not my child. She took them out of the box, clipped all the white zip-ties and then unwound the twisted strands. She left the long bundles alone but clipping the zip-ties and unwinding those will not let the lights hang correctly. Then we looked at the instructions and saw why. They mention it at least twice not to clip them but again - who would read instructions on what is essentially christmas lights? A better place to put the warning is on a bag that you have to tear into to get to the lights or a tag or insert that says - don't be a dummy and cut those little white thingies off. The reason for 4 stars is the mfg must know that this is a common problem with the lights if they mention it at least twice in the instructions. For goodness sake - please save us from our own stupidity and put the dang warning label on the actual light for us and our know-it-all teens.

I love these! They are so fun and bring the perfect amount of light to a room. My only complaint is they are really long, so it limits where I can put them without extra length laying on the floor. I also wish that the remote started with the regular steady light, and I didn't have to cycle through to all the crazy flashing options to get to it. It is nice to have the variety if I want it though. They were super easy to put up and look really great in my bedroom. For the price + quality, I would definitely recommend. I have not used them outside, so I cannot speak to the weatherproof aspect but they don't really appear that sturdy.

Very attractive lights, from both a brightness standpoint as well as color- they give off a warm yellow. However, less than 48 hours after putting these up outside, I was prepared to give them 1 star when they completely failed after a little rain. I ordered different lights and was preparing to replace these the following weekend, but a day later they were flickering on, and then a day after that they were working again- I guess whatever had gotten wet was able to dry out. Besides the plug itself- which of course was already covered- there are two additional locations that could fail- there's a black box closer to the plug and then a clear fuse-looking thing closer to the lights. I wrapped up both of these items with saran wrap, then secured that with packing tape. 3 weeks and several rain storms later, the lights are holding their own and still looking great. For the price, I was not expecting something that would last for years, but I did expect them to last through Christmas, and now I am fairly confident that they will. But I would hardly call these lights "outdoor" lights unless you are willing to take some extra precautions. I did not rate the remote control since our lights are on a timer, and I never used the remote.

At first, I loved these lights. Then they began to turn on by themselves. I contacted customer service and they told me to use a different outlet... I don’t see how which outlet I’m using is causing a problem with the product but okay. So that issue never got resolved, so I’m still dealing with the same issue. But they are pretty, I do like the many settings you can choose from with the convenient remote. The “remote” part is connected to the strings so it isn’t separate, idk if that matters to some people or not.

It’s pretty and surprisingly bright (also wires seem pretty protected/sturdy), unfortunately the color was not actually ‘warm white’. Although they do not show up true to the tone irl than in pictures, one is still able to tell that the string of lights on the left has a much more yellow tone (it’s actually a more golden hue in person) compared to the string of LED lights on the right (from a different brand) which are actually a ‘warm white’ (the difference is much more apparent in person, you’ll kinda just have to take my word for it, or not, up to you). This is just a personal opinion but I think it would be better if these lights did not include so many fast paced flashing options as it could potentially trigger an unfavorable reaction from those who have epilepsy (although I understand this might not be that common) and it is just somewhat unpleasant in general. I used these to decorate an empty wall in my room (and I already had LEDs) so the fact that the lights were not ‘warm white’ as in the description bothers me more, but other than that if you don’t mind yellow lights, I think these would be great for decorating a pavilion or outside your house.

These light surprised me, after reading the reviews and the tangling issues I was a bit nervous. However, I received a small box and the light inside are divided and each strand is individually wrapped. Once I hung the lights I proceeded to untie them one by one and it worked amazingly. It was easy and fast. I loved the intensity of the lights and the different levels it has. There is no wireless remote or anything like that. You can manage the lights with an attached remote that is close to the plug. Unsure about the waterproof since I used them indoors. Overall, they looked beautiful and worked great!

Overall, I love these lights and would recommend them so far but there are a couple of things to be aware of. First, the connection from the control box to the outlet is super short. Mine doesn't even reach the floor from maybe a foot high? outlet. The last time I ordered a string of lights that used these fragile cords and tiny control boxes it broke within a couple of months so I wouldn't recommend ever letting it just hang against it's own weight. Since I already need the lower outlet I've just been resting the box on top of the plug until I figure out a solution that can hide all of these cables better. Second, not a big deal but these lights are a pale yellow not a warm white (in my case they they don't really match my other decorations but it's fine). I tried holding a couple of lights side by side to give a better idea of a true color, hope this helps!

I got this for my 7 year old's canopy over her princess bed to make it extra special. I think it did the trick, but setting up the strings was a bit tedious. Granted each string came wrapped, so it seems neat, yet making strings go where they ought to was a bit laborious work. Lights blink at various speeds or stay stationary depending on setting. Brightness is pretty strong. (will keep the boogieman away, so no need for nightlight.) My daughter loves it and so do her classmates, who were all amazed during school zoom meeting...At price, I think this was a good value. (Light-strings are pretty long, so I folded them in half doubling blink power in given area.)
