glad I bought this umbrella for my deck of my bedroom.. it's well made and the width is not too big.

Very nice beach umbrella, easy to assemble and wide enough to protect from sun all my three kids and their beach toys. The pole is bit thin and hope will be sturdy in case of wind. Anyway the endless screw at the bottom of the pole helps a lot to drive it in the sand.

I am testing this out for the first time on a very windy day on the Florida gulf coast. I had some difficulty getting it into the sand, but by angling it into the side of a patch of dune grass, it seems to be holding up

This month I went swimming in Laguna beach almost 5 days a week. I go there very often and weight of all the items I carry if of paramount importance. This parasol is the ticket. It took a while to find it. My previous parasol was light but getting old. The difference is 1. This one is lighter 2. With this one I can adjust the height. 3 with this one, I can stick into the sand as deep as I want. 4. This one has larger diameter shade. 5. This one has vents. One caveat is that since this is made of light aluminum, it may be susceptible to dents. I noticed a barely noticeable tiny dent on the pole when I got it. But all in all I am stoked.
