This umbrella was exactly what I was looking for at a great price. I had a previous umbrella that always flew away at the slightest breeze, so I was ecstatic when this one stayed put against strong winds. I used it on a particularly windy day, a day that no one else bothered with an umbrella and it held strong. Eventually I took it down, in fear that I'd be pushing my luck, but in that time, it proved to be really strong. I love the colour. I got the turquoise (the best colour of the bunch). The canopy does a really good job at blocking out the sun and keeping me cool. This umbrella is also super light! I'm a petite woman with low upper body strength, so I was relieved to find that it was a pleasure to carry around on long distances. The only improvement I would make would be to thicken the strap. I find it a little awkward on my shoulder. The one downside is that I've already noticed some damage after two uses. The pin above the top spring is warped. I've tried knocking it back into place, but that did nothing except leave scratches on the shaft. The umbrella still functions as before, I'm just disappointed that there's already damage so soon. I'm very careful with anything I own, especially brand new things, so I'm not sure how that happened. Overall a great purchase. I would highly recommend.

We live on a lake and with grandchildren who visit this helps protect them from the sun and they can play longer outside as a result.

Needed a smaller umbrella for a courtyard. Bought a stand and this is just perfect. Made well and I hope to enjoy and use this for years to come.
