If you lock them in on dry wall,they stay

I got these when I injured a foot and needed some extra insurance not to slip when showering. They have a good grip that I would trust - HOWEVER one side or the other will come loose after a time. I always test them before I need to use them. The lever you use to lock them in place takes a bit of push so you need some strength to set them. They will not grip an uneven surface. Never place them over grout. I have only used them on smooth ceramic tile and I make sure the tile is clean (no soap) and dry. The distance between the suction cups makes it pretty easy to span bigger tiles. They would not work for small tiles since you would not be able to avoid grout lines. I got two of them and put one horizontal and one vertical. They gave me a lot of confidence in entering the shower and turning around/moving. They were a good value for me and great for what I wanted.

Surprised at how much suction they have. Very easy to put where you want them, and very sturdy. I use them every day getting in and out of the shower. Highly recommend these.

Easy installation. Strong enough to hold my 160 lb frame

Very sturdy, can be positioned and repositioned. Looks good and is handy, I did not want to mess up my tile in the shower by screwing down those awful looking metal safety grab bars. I will probably capitulate when I feel I really need them.
