Works fine except sometimes the latches do not want to stay down. This is a design flaw. If you push the suction cup in you can remove the pin holding the latch in place. If you carefully cut away some of the plastic on the bottom surface of the latch that lays flat when closed it will then lock and stay locked. You want to leave the full depth at the end with the rounded corner and cut away a small amount on the rest of that surface so it will fold down further and so the contact point will be close to the end.

Both handles gripped really well the first time I installed them. Pushing the suction level into place was a bit hard, so I felt the pair had a good grip. I left them in place until the next day… that’s when they slipped. I tried reinstalling but to no luck. I’ll keep trying… but alway test them before depending on one.

We installed two of these in the bathroom (on tile wall). I was very leery of them and did not rely on them alone to help me stand up. They didn't maintain their "grip" on the wall and one fell off after about 3 weeks. I removed the other one - not willing to risk a fall.

Shower handles look nicely made. As for suction power it’s too “good”. Don’t install them right away. The suction cups stick to the tile so tight that there’s no way to close the latches. Also, It’s next to impossible to remove the handle. One should figure out how to get it installed. I could not. Incidentally I was able to close one latch. The other stayed open. Posted a picture.

I NEEDED THESE FOR AN INVALID AND ALTHOUGH THEY WERE EASY TO INSTALL THE NEXT DAY ONE OF THEM HAD FALLEN OFF AND I THOUGHT MAYBE I HAD NOT HAD THE SUCTION CORRECT. I RECLEANED THE TILE, MADE SURE THE SUCTION ON THE GRAB BAR WAS ON RIGHT AND WAS NOT PLEASED THE NEXT DAY WHEN BOTH OF THE GRAB BARS WERE OFF AGAIN. SINCE THESE WERE FOR SOMEONE WHO NEEDED THEM TO HOLD ONTO GETTING IN AND OUT OF THE SHOWER I AM SAD TO SAY THEY DO NOT STAY PUT. I TOOK THEM OFF AND WILL LOOK FOR OTHERS. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THEM.

One had no suction power and I cannot use it.
