Has a lot of suction power but if placed on minimum size tile they state, impossible to,install without having one end on a grout line which means no suction on that end. That said, the suction on the end that’s is on tile fully is quite powerful and would probably be very sturdy in larger tile.

These hold on very well. I would recommend that you take them down and re-attach before each use as the suction fades between uses.

We haven't had the product long enough to say definitively. Given the nature of the product, I would prefer to be certain of the safety. The first problem I had was I (big guy) had to push really hard on the tabs to get them to go down. Apparently the initial suction was so strong it prevented using the "boost" suction tabs. I assume there was no way they were coming off without a chisel. However, this morning (3 days after installation), one of them lost connection on the top suction cup. Glad I was looking before I pulled on it. Could have had a fall.

Put on shower wall & not sure the covering (not tile) & had really hard time repositioning. Need to make sure where it’s placed is permanent.

No directions included on how to install but on the product description it says how. Seems to have a nice tight hold. These are not meant to support your body weight, just assist.

Easy to put on and couldn’t pull off. Seemed strong enough to keep me from falling when I tugged on it. But one of the two I put on in the shower was laying on the floor a few days later—it had somehow dropped off by itself. For the money and ease of installation, a good purchase, I think. But need to keep checking for good suction on the cups.

Product appears to be adequate, and have offered a new confidence getting in and out of the tub/shower. I’m not sure it would have gone so smoothly if I hadn’t previously purchased a similar item that did include directions.

We bought a total of 6 of these, for installation in 3 bathrooms. Out of the six (one is on smooth wall tile, three are on smooth prefab shower units), four are still in place, but the other two will not stay on the tile; one type of tile is the standard size 4 1/4" squares, with a very slight texture. The other is 6x6" squares, and looks and feels smooth, but must have just a hint of waviness on the surface, b/c these grab bars keep falling off. With the 4 1/4" tile, the grab bar crosses a grout line; no way to avoid it, so the suction won't stick. So if your tile has ANY pattern, texture, waviness, or if an 11 3/4" overall length grab bar won't sit squarely on the tile, DO NOT buy these; they won't stick.

I had to make sure the auction was still strong each time. One of the pieces of the secure clip broke so I can’t use that one meaning I have to order another set to replace 1. I tried to fix but the piece that broke is in a spot where it’s too hard without some sort of tool and 2 people to work together to fix it

An elderly person cannot install this by themselves. Takes quite a bit of force and pressure to make the suction operate. Also, I find that I need to check these from time to time. On one of them, the suction would lose its power. I suggest that once you install them to check them on a regular basis.
