I’m not sure how much I like it yet. I have only used it a couple of times. I’m hoping to find some really good recipes to make in it. Right now it doesn’t seem very fast to me because it requires the pressure to build up (preheating) and then the cook time, and then the steam release time (or use instant release if it works for your recipe). I picked the 6-qt because it was right in the middle of sizes available and it seems to fit well in my small kitchen.

It worked great but then stopped working after 5 months. The vent won't seal and customer support hasn't helped either. I had my last instantpot for years and it only got tossed out because it was broken by something that wasn't the companies fault. It seems the newer versions are dying quicker but are more expensive.

I was really excited to use my instant pot for the first time, I flipped the lid over to get everything in the inside out to assemble. I DID NOT KNOW that the valve float was loose when I took it off. I have 0 clue where the small piece of silicone for the float is, and now I cannot use my brand new instant pot without it and am forced to buy new valve floats. This is a serious design flaw. The valve float SHOULD be packed separately for this reason alone and not loose under the steam release.

This is a Christmas gift. Box came damaged. Since the recipient won't be getting this until the end of December, I certainly hope if there is damage to the actual item you will exchange it.

Burns the bottom of the dish. Have been cooking the same recipe for years in a ninja, got this as a spare and has burned the dish three times on different items. Go with Ninja you’ll be happier
