I don't write a lot of reviews but I wanted to write on this one for two reasons. First, because I like the product! I'd debated buying something like this for several years as my old one (a Craigslist find) was dying / rusting out. Hated spending more than "craigslist" prices but, this is definitely one of those "you get what you pay for" deals as this is a really good product. Exactly what we were looking for. Works exactly as described and looks great. The only thing it needs in my opinion is a way to deal with the funnel effect. If you think "rainstorm" and then look at the design of the fire-pit itself... it actually forms a giant funnel to collect rainwater and pour it inside the base / all over the metal parts inside... which in my experience rust out WAY to quick. :( Now granted there aren't a lot of metal parts inside but funneling water inside is certainly going to hasten their demise so.... I bought a HUGE bowl (search "Winco , 30-Quart, Stainless Steel" on Amazon) and put it on top, then put the included cover over that and strapped it down ($1.99 strap in the camping section at Walmart - I use them for everything!). Without the added bowl, when you put the included cover over the fire-it it simply sags down into the bowl and water fills up in it like a bird bath and... then water drips / seeps through the cover into the bowl and down into the base. No good. Bowl solves the problem and should make this fire-pit last a good 10+ years. See pics I've attached. Bowl is huge yes, but fits this perfectly.

Beautiful!!! We literally took this out of the box- and had it running in about 25 minutes! Its gorgeous-and adds to the ambiance of our porch! We bought the Caribbean blue fire ice- much better than what it comes with!!!

I received my fire pits today. Other than fed ex delivering them upside down. Package says fragile but his excuse was it didn’t say this side up. They come fully built, packaged really good, lots of styrofoam. I did what others did. I used some lava rock (included ), then covered in some colorful fire glass. Easy to start, looks great. So far so really good.

Granted that I have only used it once, but better than I expected. It is built well and looks spectacular with fire glass.

The look and quality are fantastic. They burn hot or warm, either way they you will love them. I bought 2 for a party we hold every year and because the weather was expected to be cool. We burned both of them in the seating area which had open umbrellas, and the umbrellas never got hot. With the full tank they are heavy, which is good, I went ahead an purchased high quality waterproof covers because the ones that came with it, I don't think are waterproof. I said buy two because the look really good and will balance out a deck or patio with better.

We are extremely happy with this fire bowl. It is beautifully made and designed and fits perfectly for us. So much better than having the lower fire pit. I was concerned about shipping, but the fireball arrived perfectly. Easy set up and it lights right away, contrary to some other reviews. The flame can be soft or up all the way to "roaring"!

Absolutely beautiful and a can't-be-beat value compared to others I researched. No assembly other than attaching your tank. Very sturdy, stylish with no visible hoses or tanks. The only improvement I may suggest is a "rock" cover over the ignition/controls. The pit is heavy and comes with a thick cover for protection and has held up to a few severe thunderstorms/strong winds. I like that the height of the bowl /flame is taller than some of the other pits because we often have toddlers around. Highly recommend!

I had some issues in setting it up as if one follows the directions, you are instructed to place propane tank inside body of structure and then attach regulator to the cylinder valve. This does not create a good seal/connection for gas to flow tothe fire pit. Therefore, I was having difficulty igniting the fire pit as gas was not being transmitted; I then disconnected and placed propane tank out side of structure, I then connected again and ensured it was tight, and then placed inside body of structure. It ignited and I had flames glowing! Just keep this in mind if you are having trouble getting the flame going!

Just want to say that in other reviews, one lady mentioned that water pooled inside the bowl with cover on and she used a big bowl to cover it,another person used a garbage can lid.I think I found a better solution.I used a 18 in.round glass like goes on a table top.It fit perfectly and is more decorative and can also serve as a table when not in use.

OMG!! I just looooooooove these. I started with one, then bought another, now I'm on my third. They are absolutely beautiful! They also definitely emit heat for those cool nights. Just remember that when igniting you have to turn large knob to the left (pushing it in while turning) AND push other button in (igniter switch) AT THE SAME TIME! Just a super great product. I'm very pleased.
