The product looks and works great and even the color matches our pavers by the pool. Just remember when you go to start it to hold the knob in while you are clicking the lighter. I failed to do that at first and thought that it was not getting gas.

This little guy is fantastic! We are debating buying another one for the pool area, as it is so pretty when it is lit. We were looking at a $1,799 fire table for our lanai, which was the smallest we could get and which would have cramped the space a bit, and then we saw this firebowl on Amazon. It is well made, high quality, and gives us the ambiance we wanted for our Florida outdoor space! We are now waiting for aqua blue reflective fire glass to put in it and it will be stunning. Our neighbors have all wanted to know where we got it and want to buy one!

This is an excellent product. I was looking for a heater and then decided on this since it looked really nice. It gives off enough heat for me, though less than an actual heater. Well made product. I was gong to replace the lava rocks with colored flame glass chips, but I liked the lava rocks so much that I plan to keep them. They look much more natural. We even made smores using this last night. Worth every penny! Note: the starter is a little touchy but it's because I didn't read the instructions. You have to turn the dial to the start position and actually push it in and hold it in for about 15 seconds, and then push the starter button. Highly recommend.

Week 3 Update: This fit pit is temperamental. It stopped working after one use. We were freezing out in the backyard. Next day, we checked that all the parts were secured and tank had air and could not get it to work. It sounded like gas wasn’t going through the line. Was about ready to return it, but husband decided to try and replace the connector hose. When he detached the hose, he found a blockage in the hose that has to be cleared manually. Now it’s working again. Week 1: Exceeded all my expectations! Item arrives fully assembled in the box, just pull it out and put the red lava rocks (included) in the bowl. All metal with faux rock facade on the base. Not too wide and height is perfect while seated in chairs. The 20 lb propane tank goes underneath and is hidden, electronic starter makes it easy to use. It feels warm when you sit close to it but it doesn’t Radiat heat too far. Perfect for 50-60F west coast outdoor weather, may not be warm enough for deep winter weather. But it looks beautiful and so relaxing. Love it!!!

We purchased this as an outdoor heat source for pandemic outdoor social distanced entertaining. However, while it is very attractive and easy to use, it does not produce a lot of actual heat, even on full blast. That being said, we decided to keep it because it is very aesthetically pleasing and as we do a lot of outdoor entertaining in the summer we thought it would be nice to have an attractive feature that wouldn't put off too much heat, but would be fun to sit around in groups. If you are looking for specifically a heat source for the winter outdoor sitting this might not be the best option. If you are looking for ambiance, it would be a perfect fit.

I like the firepit/bowl. I especially like that it came assembled. Pretty much, all we had to do was add the propane tank and the lava rocks. The firepit/bowl seems pretty solid and sturdy. There were a few small places where the paint rubbed off. The box did however include a touch-up paint marker, but the brown is a lighter shade than the darkest brown of the firebowl. The marker seems as though it would be fine if used to touch up the lighter shades of brown used for the simulated brick portion. If you want to touch up the darkest brown areas, you will need to purchase your own touch-up paint marker. I have actually not yet used it on its highest temperature setting, but if standing near it, it gives off good heat on a medium setting, and it does add warmth if sitting approx. 3 feet away on the medium setting. The only complaint I have is that I couldn't get the auto ignite button to work, but it is easy enough to light with a candle lighter, so that is not a deal breaker.

A very nice unit that should be much better built. Nice lines but very fragile. I had an incident with the Cover door. It fell while adjusting to the platform we had set for it. It CHIPPED massively! Really? $400.00 and it can't take a "Bump"? It is over priced for a weakly made unit. The "touch" paint pens that were included with the unit were DRY! They were useless..... NOT HAPPY for the Price.... $250.00 would be more fair.... Please potential buyers

I bought this for my partner a couple of months ago. Before I go any further, she has loved everything about this fire pit. If she has time, she sits next to it every morning and drinks her coffee. And on cool evenings we will sit around it and drink a beer. It really is great for relaxing out in the yard... until last night. We were sitting around the pit talking, and suddenly there was a sound like fireworks, followed immediately by impacts on the awning overhead and the back of the house. As we were processing this, less than five seconds later there was a second. For the record, we store the fire pit under the awning, on the back porch, and always use the included cover. What happened is, that the included lava rock was exploding. This happens because moisture builds up in the pores, and when the rock is heated quickly, such as over a fire, the moisture evaporates, turns to steam, and the pressure blows the rock apart. This sends hot shards of rock flying through the air. It is very dangerous. Had anyone been hurt, we would be talking to a lawyer. The pictures are of the inside edge and outside surface of one of the lava rocks that exploded. You can see the clean break from the inside on the first one, and the outside which hit our plastic awning and melted it. Yes, I had exploding rocks that are hot enough to melt plastic. Look, this is a great item, but they need to be a little more mindful of safety. Use lava glass, or something else less dangerous. That is all.

I ordered it in January and used it briefly 2 or 3 times before Memorial weekend and it worked fine. However, on 5/27, although it fired up with the gas knob pushed in, the gas shut off as soon as I released the knob. I did hold the knob in for an extended period trying to make sure the thermocouple was hot. I did repressurize the gas valve and I did check the wiring between the thermocouple and the control valve. I attempted to phone Bond Customer Service and was put on hold for a long time and finally followed the suggestion on the recording and emailed them. Now, two days later, still no response. I think I am stuck with yet another boat anchor.

Ignition is junk. Never worked from First time out of box... major hassle to ship back. Looks great but there is zero customer service Called in a Wednesday at 4 o’clock hold time was “ In Excess of 40 minutes” what a joke no one can wait min of 40 minutes
